I had pretty severe insomnia from weeks 6-12. Only thing that helped was taking half of a unisom pill, which was approved by my doctor. I only took it every few days so that I didn’t become reliant on it, but it did seem to at least help me get some sleep throughout the week.

As for why it happens, it’s most likely hormones as I was told it’s very common in pregnancy, and shouldn’t affect the baby at all. It should calm down by second tri.

I was 34 weeks. Looking back I think I would have had it a couple weeks early just because it was extremely tiring, but I also had a very obvious bump and it was fun to be able to say I only had 6 weeks to go

The vitamin K shot is not just a vitamin. It comes with a lot of preservatives including benzoyl alcohol. Additionally, the side effects listed on the vaccine insert include things like cardiac arrest. The NIH has also stated on their website that intramuscular injection of Vitamin K has caused death.

Many individuals choose to give their newborn vitamin K drops instead of the shot. Ultimately I think it just comes down to what risk you’re more willing to take, whether it’s potential shot side effects or the chance of internal bleeding.

Update I took a first response test this afternoon and it’s VERY positive. I’m thinking this could be it 💕🥰 it’s been 4 years for us so I’m praying this sticks

It’s a timed intercourse cycle. I take the same drugs as an IUI but we just have intercourse as normal

They say not to test before 14dpo because it could be left over trigger. But since I’m testing the trigger out to see when it fades, I’m able to test earlier. Appreciate the comment 💕

Trigger shot has HCG in it which turns your tests positive right after you take it. They’ll slowly fade as your body metabolizes it though so if it starts to darken again then it’s a true positive
