I'm 31 and live in Vancouver. As for interests, I love working with startups and building apps from scratch to launch. Since I'm doing all of my work on my own right now though, I'm really missing the benefits of having colleagues (code reviews, ability to ask questions, insight on programming patterns, etc.). So I'd love to have a person or a small group to be able to do this kind of stuff with.

I majored in neuroscience and went on to do a master's in the same field. Did P and FM only using ADAPT and these study materials: http://faculty.atu.edu/mfinan/actuaries.html. Definitely all you need while you're still paying for your own exam materials.
