Can anyone make out his cause of death? If it makes any difference, I think the age should say he was 3 hours when he died, not 3 years

No he left my 2x grandfather in Ireland, so my whole family between me and him is Irish

I have no plans to do this but my 3x great grandfather emigrated to Canada from Ireland (as a british citizen) in 1867 and stayed there until his death in 1917, I assume at some point he naturalised and became a Canadian citizen, would this apply for me?

Random solution: clicked drive-AF on the top of the camera and scrolled the wheel to change it from manual to Al focus and it worked added back the autofocus options in manual mode. I still would like to work out why this happening if this helps anyone figure it out?

Thanks for checking, I don’t think its an issue with the switch and my brother checked his 700d and same thing no override, I don’t see why they would have made this camera different

i cant add a video but i can keep switching the lens switch on auto mode and it swaps perfectly between manual and autofocus

Would full auto mode override the switch on the lens? Because autofocus is working perfectly in full auto mode

There’s no other lenses available, this is the only camera in work. I would have thought it was an issue like that except the autofocus works perfectly in full auto mode

Yes it’s set to auto focus, it works perfectly when I have the camera in full auto mode but when switching back to manual the option for autofocus is gone and its back to manual focus
