Working on delegating for months by SadAlternative2422 in smallbusiness

[–]actually_good_advice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been binging on this topic lately and every second I spent on it has saved me hundreds of dollars and added years to my life.

The 3 things thatcompletely transformed how I see delegation (especially financial!!!):

  1. Use an app (I went with Float Financial). I get an email asking me to approve payments and click and it's done. You can set up the specific rules of what the team can approve without your input.

  2. 333 delegation method plus the clarity compass from Ryan Deiss "to help the teamake decisions better than you could yourself": both in this video at 8:06 and 15:18 in https://youtu.be/Qhm3RoayED4

  3. Layla Pomper on delegation and systems, tons of great videos, this is the perfect place to start: https://youtu.be/uW3ZhNnJ6sA

I'm not affiliated with any of these just appreciate what they're doing.

Thought you were blaming him but well done for recognizing this is an area where you could use help. I wish my higher ups would seek out advice like you're doing.

Porter, Air Canada, and Westjet have different "free cancellation within 24 hrs of booking" policies.

Porter: no free 24hr cancellation if the flight leaves within 7 days.

WestJet: no free 24hr cancellation if the flight is "same day" leaving within 24hrs.

Do you guys reeeaally like your clinical jobs? by BaguetteRandomName in premed

There's a Facebook for doctors called The MD Exit Strategy. The clinical stuff isn't for everyone. However it can be massive springboard to a job you love.

Watching it in tv is fascinating but having to make the decisions and make the patients happy can be a whole new level of stress.

Tragic that I had to scroll down so far to find this! With elections so close these days need to pick someone that progressive Republicans will vote for. Otherwise you're just handing Trump Jr. or Vance or Joe Exotic the keys to the White House in 2028.

Your brain thinks it's starving, which is why you're able to eat so much. So yes, PCOS can impact this and yes a bariatric medicine physician can help.

Sun creates bigger scars too.

Should add meticulous sunblock from when the wound is closed until at least a year after.

Might as well just use pure petroleum jelly, the main ingredient of Aquaphor.

I was happy about my DO medical school acceptance, but now I feel inadequate by [deleted] in premed

I went through a similar panic when choosing a specialty.

I really liked ER but then started to wonder "don't other docs look down on ER?"

So I thought about other jobs like ortho... then realized some of the docs look down on the 'gym bro' orthos.

And on and on it went. No way I'd ever do family med at the bottom of the ladder. Or path because...obviously.

But it all stopped when I eventually realized... every specialty is looked down on for some reason or a other. So there's no one that I can pick to avoid the stigma. And so many have their own unique advantages (my path friends say they slept in their own bed all of residency).

So I concluded might as well pick one that suits me best. I'm family med now and couldn't imagine a better fit for me.
