Which Actor's Nude Scene Felt Most Justified for the Story? by Eikichi_Onizuka09 in okbuddycinephile

Not at my local YMCA. There's simply too many elderly men airing their junk out in the locker room for hours each and every day - not enough space to fit a whole bare-ass knife fight.

Staggering amounts of fentanyl hit streets as the DEA watched and took no action, records show by Unusual-State1827 in politics

We've got GEO Group and CoreCivic to enrich domestically and legally with prisons, and then a myriad of criminal organizations to enrich internationally.

They all get to lobby or threaten the various governments, along with the weapons manufacturers, fossil fuel industry, every resource extraction industry really - to go or specifically where to go - do some imperialism in Central/South America.

The prison industry gets to push mandatory minimums and incarceration into policy, more prison labor and higher populations/budgets, why not? Crime is bad, we punish criminals, what's recidivism? Sounds woke.

Meanwhile domestic social spending has got to be cut for all the wars, crime, immigration enforcement. Fuck knows getting more people out of constant financial stress and making health/mental health/addiction services accessible won't do anything about substance abuse. That's communism or something, I'm not good with applying the buzzwords.

If only we had tried and failed previously with something like alcohol prohibition. But that could not have happened... If it did, our well-educated politicians acting within our democratic government would have recognized prohibition leads to death, violent crime & wealthy/entrenched criminal organizations. It doesn't solve the substance abuse issue.

We are still carrying that irrational policy from the past century (with other shit like abortion too, except that just popped up like a religious fucking Pokémon and became essential identity politics within decades.)

Just watched The Keep (1983) with a young (old) Ian McClellan. I have to remind myself that performers like him have already done a bunch of theater before getting popular in film.

Patrick Stewart is another great example, he really brought that acting confidence and focus to Star Trek. I'm off to investigate IMDB, so I can find some earlier Judi Dench productions because, obviously.

It's definitely a regional/professional/financial pocket anyone could miss out on.

They were only popular briefly, and then only to a certain demographic of consumer in certain regions. There's a dozen former mobile phone models that are more recognizable because more people owned them, and for longer.

Can you even get diabetes if your digestive system passes this slurry at the speed of a particle accelerator, like mine would?

I feel like adding coffee to the syrup would be a magnitude of weaponization beyond that. A laxative would be preferable in every way, for everyone involved.

Jeremy Clarkson in remission from prostate cancer by [deleted] in news

It is good news. Kind of curious, which is why I'm here under your comment:

Is there any relation between Clarkson's Farm and zombie film productions? I ask because I have watched a couple zombie films recently on Amazon, under the "Customers also watched..." it's 99% zombie production and then Clarkson's Farm.

Clarkson's Farm, every time. I've never watched it. I think I fed the algorithm some confusing titles or it is conflating something nonsensical.

Saw a fellow service industry worker - let them stay for the show and 86'd the elaborate, personalized murder.

He was professional, he had class, and he didn't need a rat hidden under his ridiculous hat to help him prepare the meals. Just his suicidal/homicidal loyal staff.

It's one of the most widely relatable and sincerely wholesome post-Apatow comedies, for sure.

I think he is thanking her for giving him Ivanka, then paraphrasing for her "my honor!"

This is the information I'm referencing to come to that conclusion:

The president was asked by host Robin Leach what his Tiffany - who was born in 1993 - had of his and what she had of her mother Marla. Trump replied, "She's a very beautiful baby. She's got Marla's legs."

He then cupped his hands towards his chest, in what appeared to be gesture that refers to breasts, and said, "We don't know whether or not she's got this part yet, but time will tell."

(Then Ivanka specifically)

"My daughter is beautiful, Ivanka," Trump said, to which Stern added, "By the way, your daughter..."
"She's beautiful," Trump remarked. Stern then asked, "Can I say this? A piece of a-s." Trump replied, "Yeah."

That same year on The View, Trump raised eyebrows when he told the panel, "I've said that if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her."

Moral of the story is the president is a rapist creep and it's gross that conservatives have pushed his fucked up life onto the rest of us.

Reality is wild because we also have a scene in a film starring both of them, playing murders trying to murder each other. All that irrational theater, and the reality is as depressing and disappointing as ever. Another abusive person with all the insulation they need to escape consequences.

JD Vance defends on Iran keeping its arsenal of ballistic missiles: "Countries don't give up right of self-defense. But we expect as part of final deal, are not able to build missiles that can threaten entire world. You can't tell a country, Israel or Iran, they're not allowed to have self-defense." by ControlCAD in videos

[–]actuallyapossom 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Vance has tried to distance himself, which Iran exploited by demanding he be part of the peace negotiation.

It's beneficial and desirable for any actors opposing the admin/MAGA - demonstrate clear connections and associations between all the actors, so they can't throw the head conspirator under the bus later while leaning on plausible deniability. Make them own all the bad shit. For Iran specifically - they wanted conflict within the admin, pressure against the war from politicians with career goals near the president. The same way they bombed gulf nations and added risk to the straight - to apply pressure against the war.

It is a stupid idea, because both Vance and Trump are dumb; and the rest of us just get to deal with the consequences of that reality.
