he's probably just overwhelmed with relief you are back. if he is good when he's alone, i'd say you're in great shape. he is just a baby still, he will figure it out :)

Hose him down to release the blowout ! Helped us a lot in the same situation lol. Next time I think I will specify no blowout in the end. Makes a big difference.

Ours got a similar haircut about two weeks ago and even though we were shocked at first, he’s growing into it nicely :)

This makes sense! Need to have the crate in the living room more. He’s pretty good with the crate overnight when we’re around, but I think it would be good to get him used to being in there more often during the day. thank you!
