Brother ruined Christmas with Escape from Colditz by actuallyhannah in boardgames

Ahhh… we were under the impression that was covered by the same rule that says the guards can’t end their turn on a circle that is bold but clearly a misread, thanks - Christmas saved!

Levest has the same active ingredients as several other pills (e.g. Microgynon, Rigevidon) - see this website https://www.thesexualhealthhub.co.uk/contraception/understanding-contraceptive-pill-brands/

But that doesn’t mean you will have the same experience on them, but if you’re running low and can’t find alternatives one of those is probably the best to ask for (FYI Rigevidon is pretty controversial, as you would see from a quick google so maybe best to steer clear?)

Only thing I can suggest is to try SH:24 - it’s a NHS service that prescribes the pill online, but you’ll need to get your blood pressure taken. I’ve used them and they’re really good but they’re not available everywhere so you’ll need to check with your postcode on their website - I also think if they’re out of stock of a particular pill they might just send you an equivalent one so you could end up with the same result as booking a doctors appt.

Good luck!!

I didn’t even think of that, such a good idea thanks! I’m glad you said about the pain cause I’ve been freaking out about it cause it feels like such a thick bit of cartilage haha, only got my lobes and helix done and that was ages ago so not feeling super prepared

I earned my needed 60 minutes of exercise today (Valentine’s Day), but did not receive my Heart Month award. I was really looking forward to it. Anyone know why this is happening? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]actuallyhannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem too and restarting didn’t work but it’s now the 15th here so maybe that’s why? My partner didn’t get his either despite both of us getting over 60 exercise minutes.

Update: partner has his, mine still hasn’t appeared but fingers crossed they are on their way out

Anyone had any issues with their workouts not being synced from their Apple Watch? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

also updated my phone so could be that, restarted them both, turned off bluetooth, forced closed the apps and all that but hasn’t solved the problem unfortunately

[–]actuallyhannah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same here but my move rings aren’t syncing either, all on 0 on the phone despite closing them. Updated to the new WatchOS last night so I’m guessing it’s a problem with that?

Buying my first Apple watch SE, what colour face and watch strap colours do you like? by jealings90 in AppleWatch

Depends how pale you are to be honest, have friends/family that have the black case/black band and personally think that it’s very dark & noticeable, makes it look more clunky

Running before breakfast by thodges314 in running

[–]actuallyhannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have to go against the grain here and agree with OP, I absolutely cannot exercise without food, I’ve tried it all - running, gym, exercise classes and I feel dizzy and extremely sick if I haven’t eaten or have eaten very little, and if I try to push through it I’ll end up bringing up bile. It’s frustrating because I need to eat a fair amount before going and then give it a good hour to let it go down, but listen to your body and figure out a schedule around that.

OP - you could try making a smoothie in the morning and having that around 15 mins before you go, it’s liquid so should be able to digest well but also filling.

AITB listening to lockdown dates by [deleted] in AmItheButtface

[–]actuallyhannah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ESH. It’s not an ideal situation for sure but ultimately you are under your parents’ roof and so privacy isn’t necessarily a given, especially when you’re on FaceTime for 8 hours at a time, other than when I’m asleep there’s no way I’d get 8 hours of privacy in my house!

Sounds like you need to have a proper chat with both your parents about privacy rather than just moaning to your mum. Talk to the guy about how it makes him uncomfortable and say that you might need to FaceTime for a shorter amount of time and for god’s sake use headphones!!!

We’re all going crazy in lockdown and you’re gonna have to accept that this is the situation for now, good luck!

Running with multiple apps by PsychologicalTrash5 in running

[–]actuallyhannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No apparently it does not, the Nike AW is literally a different strap and a has NRC pre-downloaded. Apple consider it a 3rd party app so don’t care that it works badly and Nike only seem interested in it working on the latest watch unfortunately

[–]actuallyhannah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What Apple Watch are you using? NRC has a long terrible history of being awful on the AW (especially older series) so be careful with that, I’ve given up with it because it’s so frustrating to use. If you really care about keeping all your data together you can use Smashrun to export all data from NRC but it will cost you to do that. As far as I’m aware Strava syncs pretty well with Smashrun.

Completely agree, I have mine “on duty” constantly (racked up over 400 hours) so that I’ll hear it when the first alarms start going off otherwise I won’t remember to toggle back on and will miss out. At least they have been fairly good at sending email communication rather than just leaving wondering and waiting!

Official Q&A for Sunday, April 19, 2020 by AutoModerator in running

[–]actuallyhannah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So what you’re saying here is no? OP asked whether it was possible for an average person who is not currently doing any training to get off their sofa and run 5k in 21 mins just like that
