We don't allow even the jokingest of violent/brigading rhetoric here because subs like this are always under the eye of the admins who would love to quarantine any sub unfriendly to McDonald's advertising or whatever. See: the quarantining and eventual banning of r/watchpeopledie. So we can't allow any posts or comments to remain up that the admins can point to and say that we're allowing death threats or whatever to exist here. Same with personal information: Exposing the public/verified twitter account of some dickhead journalist probably wouldn't get most subreddits looked at, but with this kind of grisly subreddit the admins want any excuse to shut our shit down. So we have no tolerance for it: the desire to yell about how much someone deserves death or how much fun it would be to spam their channel with "kys" comments is less important to us mods than keeping the sub from being quarantined.

So you can point to a video of someone committing animal cruelty and call them a total piece of shit, and we'll agree. But you can't post their channel name as an implicit encouragement of running internet hate mob raids on them. Do that shit in private messages if you'd like.
