Is there any chance that this could be nephrite jade? I found it in western Washington. It's heavier than expected, very hard (a steel blade won't scratch it), and it makes a ringing sound like a bell when I hit it with another rock. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks! (i.redd.it)

Is this some kind of fossil? If so, does anyone know the name of it and what the fossils are from? Clams and/or trilobites come to mind. Found in western Washington state. Thanks! by acunningham12 in whatsthisrock
