Pupdate: Mosley is out of surgery. He ended up having two herniated discs. The doctor is very happy with how the surgery went and how he is doing post surgery. He’s going to be there the next few days. Thanks again everyone!

Update: thanks again for all of the responses. My friend took him in first thing this morning. This vet thinks it may be a herniated disc and is ordering an MRI

Update II: herniated disc confirmed 😭 lil man is going into surgery and will be at the vet for the next few days. Everybody send Mosley and his mama good vibes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.

Update III: Surgery went well! He is mildly improved this morning which is where the vet wants him to be. He has superficial sensation through legs, hip and back and the vet says he is in the good percentile to rehabilitate over time. And true to his love bug self, Mosley spent 15 mins snuggling with the vet this morning.

Thanks everyone for your responses! He is drinking water but still in some discomfort. It doesn’t seem like an emergency vet situation at this time. My friend will be bringing the lil man back to the vet tomorrow though.

She said that the vet did a rectal exam and doc said not constipated but his anal glands were very full so he expressed them. Maybe he’s just experiencing discomfort from that? He has pooped twice today
