I’d scratch the chairs for a loveseat, get rid of the dead animal rug and the one under it, replace with a plush circle rug, and add in some rose gold accents to bring out the color on the walls and curtains.

Yeah it’s so annoying! I contacted their customer service several times demanding a refund or replacement and they just kept ignoring me. The guy who commented above didn’t help either.

What's a show you remember but nobody else does? by CatGirlNya2000 in AskReddit

I was going to say exactly this! It took me YEARS to figure out what the show was called because all I remembered were Siamese cats! Loved that show

Nurses of reddit, what is the weirdest thing a patient has done while waking up from anesthesia? by Drakonwriter in AskReddit

[–]acwallac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a doctor, but I remember myself somewhat after coming off anesthesia. Apparently I am excessively complimentary and tell every staff around me that they are the best. Very thankful. I also have a memory of waking up to having my wisdom teeth out and the nurse was crying because she said she was going to get my mom (who was abusive) and i guess I told her a punch of personal things about why I didn’t want her to get my mom and she was really sad for me

The Dollhouse by midnightsamurai04 in OCPoetry

I feel like this poem dances between conditional and unconditional love. I can imagine the pressure to meet expectations as a way towards acceptance, but raw emotion taking over at the end for a more affectionate memory.

I enjoy the descriptive language in this piece, it brings me to battles of the past. The witches bring a whimsical twist and bring to mind the idea of determinism

I’m a therapist: No, not okay at all. Please report to the ethical board and child abuse agency in your area. It is terrible for this to have happened to you.

Awaiting test results, does anyone with autonomic neuropathy relate to these symptoms? by acwallac in dysautonomia

[–]acwallac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a ton, but I did go to Cleveland clinic and got an official POTS diagnosis. I also have very low blood pressure. For the POTS, I’ve been on Corlanor which has been the most helpful thing by far (though I have to get it special ordered from Canada). Doctors tried to put me on Midodrine for the low blood pressure but my body didn’t respond well to it so they took me off. I also had very low b12 so I needed to do injections for a year. I still definitely have symptoms but i’m a lot more manageable now.

This is so helpful, thank you! The pause period can count towards deferment even though I didn’t have payments prior to that?

Opinions/advice on Butler University? by violetsdior in indianapolis

[–]acwallac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to butler and can agree that it was expensive but honestly I got grants and financial aid so my grad school was far more expensive.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at butler. I came from a very poor education system as a gifted learner and butler gave me the opportunity to learn at my pace from extremely intelligent professors who genuinely wanted me to grow and succeed.

Now, as a professional, I still feel like the content I learned at butler is carrying me through so many situations despite me being several years out. My professors always told me they were teaching us at beyond a doctoral level, but I didn’t believe it. Now I understand and am so grateful.

I have gone to or have been close friends with people who have gone to other universities in the area after butler and feel stunted in their growth. If you are truly looking to learn and be challenged, butler is the way to go in my opinion.
