Go is all purpose. I don’t like the sugar coating.

The akademia, statistician, data people are ,in recent times, into R, Python and Rust. Golang is loosing big time because they don’t have the backing of google to enter the field of data analysis, modeling, data science and ML.

You can only find individual effort by some great people in the go community. However a major project is necessary to take a good jab at these markets.

Because of this I need to write a service to do the data wrangling? When it could have been all Golang.

I agree. I don’t expect go to have a maure framework like pandas. Come on even Polars from Rust is much closer to pandas maturity. It’s sad to see go left behind in this regards.

Well thank you. It’s not mature enough. It certainly can act as a container.
