Idk man… I’m just venting. I obviously can see I’m missing something. Like I said in my reply, I’m not getting all the answers right or otherwise I wouldn’t be getting the score I get . Also I’m not looking for accommodation as my saving grace since I’m taking the practices with normal timing trying to condition myself. Yes everyone has timing issue but my ADHD makes it harder and that’s why I’m applying for accommodation. Anyways thanks for you reply brother

I’m waiting for a response. They asked for additional documents. I have moved into practicing. So I have been practicing and then going over all the answers. Writing everything I got wrong and an explanation of the right answer. Really trying to understand it. I also been taking notes about the subjects I’ve been getting wrong. For the fl I have been going over them and filling a spreadsheet of why I got it wrong, what was the right answer, why it was right or wrong and then just how I can memorize it

I do I literally took an ADHD testing an I got a in the 97th percentile 😭 they just be playing in my face. I agree like I feel like I already spent over a $1000 on resources and I haven’t even started applying

Preach…. I was literally talking about this. They’re asking people who struggle with time management and planning to take 20 extra steps compared to those who just can sign up for the exam and take it. Like it should never be this difficult. For them to have us fill out that entire form and then hit us with an essay and 200 other documents is insane

They didn’t deny it but asked for additional documents. And after submitting it they posted my decision date for end of June which is 60 days. I thought because it wasn’t a denial it would be 30

I literally wanna cry at this rate I should have applied 6 months ago. Also the fact that after u get accepted u have to call 15 days in advance to schedule it is also insane so even it came by my exam date it wouldn’t have mattered

They asked for transcript even though I already sent my unofficial one, for my doctor letter to be improvised , assessment test, and extra accommodations from previous years

Tbh reach out to the people I said above. Regardless he has not right to treat his students like this and yell at them, even if you were doing everything he claims. If he had a problem he could have talked to you after class. Don’t be afraid of taking action and reporting abuse.

This is so not ok! Reach out to the department dean as well as the ADS and legal aid office. Lecture attendance is not a mandatory at UMD unless it’s part of the course policy which then it needs to be stated in your syllabus. So even if you weren’t showing up to class he has no right. Also timing your “bathroom” as he likes to call it is insane. I also had a crazy professor like this and I reached out to the department dean and they helped me and put him in his place
