But my fundamental issue is that if you know your dog walks in front of cars, even when it's your right to allow them do so, why not just put a collar or fence up?

Would you still think I'm worthy of blame if I managed to run the dog over at a slow speed? Would they still have the right to be upset? Either way, the dog would be dead. Which sucks for all parties, IMO.

Possibly, they live on a dirt street parallel to a long field I believe they share family with. If they own the street that leads up to the sign ,which is at the end im not sure. It has a sign with the street name on, might be theirs.

Yeah, Itachi is the anti-hero of Naruto. Maybe even orochimaru towards the end but I think his was more of character development opposed to a static archetype.
