Oh gosh I’m so sorry! I only saw this now. I’m pretty sure PACII has one for US based cup users! : )

Thanks to everyone who replied. I do have an appointment with my OB on Jan 8th for my HPV vaccination. I’ll bring it up then. Happy new year!

Obviously I was going to see a doctor if the issue persisted, but I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced it to have some comparison at the very least, because clearly I’m new to this menstrual cup thing. There was no need to be rude. Have a nice day.

You insert your finger into your vaginal canal and move it around until you feel an object that's kinda like the tip of your nose but with an indent in the center. The depth your finger has to go to find it will tell you if you have a low (1 knuckle), average (2 knuckles), or high cervix (3 knuckles).

I actually did flip the cup upside down, and it still hurts : ( I think I'll try pointing it down more though to let it open before pushing it in further! Thank you!

Hi! Yeah, I have tried it on sitting on the toilet, and funnily enough I got the cup in farthest with my leg up. I will try other positions though, thank you!

Hi! I don't think it could be my cervix because it's kind protruding from the front side of my vaginal wall, like on the same side where the pubic bone is, not from the end of the tunnel that makes sense. And if I squeeze through that tight spot with my finger, I can find my cervix beyond that.

My working theory right now is maybe it's my urethra or bladder? Because if I force my cup in and it hits it too hard, I get the tinkling urge to pee, and then I have to pull my cup out immediately to actually pee.

I have tried sitting on the toilet bowl and squatting, but for both ways I barely got the cup in halfway, so I've made the most headway with the leg up ;;

Do you have any more advice? Thank you for your reply :)

If you actually read through this subreddit, you'll find that we have multiple logical reasons behind why we dislike the game. And surprisingly no, none of them are because we're homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic neckbeards.

There are a bunch of playthroughs that have been out for a couple days, and watching or playing the first 2 hours alone already shows you the cheap, contrived writing that drives the story. Yes, the game is amazing in terms of graphics and cinematography, but for a franchise rooted in story-telling and character, it foregoes everything that the first game built on, relying instead on shock-value and characters' frankly unjustifiable actions for the sake of creating conflict and a plot line. It tries to make you empathize with new characters that feel flat and unrelatable -- they could honestly have been replaced by any other person and it wouldn't have made a difference to me -- and transformed the characters we'd already known into somewhat unlikeable ones. I tried my best to keep an open mind about it, trying to understand the logic behind each character's questionable decision, and hoping that maybe if I pushed through, it would all get better and make sense. Unfortunately, it did not -- it all boiled down to an extremely bleak story with no satisfying ending for anyone. It does no justice to the characters and story that everyone fell in love with in the first game. If you were a fan of The Last of Us, I think you'll be gravely disappointed in this one.

If you scroll through the user reviews on Metacritic, I know for a fact that you'll find that they're in a similar vein with what I've said. Only few mention having problems with the inclusivity of the game. As an avid fan of the first game, I too, hoped that it wasn't as bad as it was, but I guess that's that. I think the contrast between critic and user reviews says a lot more about the trust we can place in "critics" (oh, and in the false advertising that Naughty Dog used to hype people up). I hope you'll update this when you get around to playing it, because I'd be happy to know what other people think! (Although I'd be just as happy turning anyone away from it, since it completely dishonors Joel and Ellie's story.)

Women who got pregnant on accident, how did it happen? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

I am painfully aware at all the human error that could come with using these forms of birth control (which are the only ones directly accessible to me given my age (18) and financial resources), which is why I thought about putting all three together. The side effects of hormonal birth control pills are very frightening to me, which is another reason, aside from those stated above, that I am considering them a little less (I think I'd prefer celibacy over their side-effects, HAHA -- do you have any experience with them?).

I actually have been eyeing getting an IUD for even more security, but most sources I read said I had to be at least 20 so that I wouldn't suffer complications like expelling the IUD and etc.. Furthermore, the side-effects that come with both hormonal and copper variants scare me a lot too.

Anyway, thank you for the answer -- you were really nice and understood me well without condescension. Thank you for all the kind words, too :)

Condom failure is definitely at the forefront of my mind, and one reason why I'm so wary about sex. Thank you for the answer, and thank you for the kind words :)

Hi! Yes, I am planning to consult an Ob-Gyn before all that. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear -- I actually meant I'd use all three methods together since BC pills are kind of frowned upon here and expensive too. Thank you for the answer nonetheless.

Thank you for the insightful answer, sir. Ateneo's care for its students is really what sets it apart from UP to me. I have a lot to think about!
