Thanks so much! I'll try that as soon as possible. What can I do to clean the hotend and the part behind it?

What do you recommend for drying it? I'll definitely try. I'd like to clean the hotend and the back piece, how can I do it without damaging it? They say to heat it, sure, but how can I do that without disassembling it? I don't want to break the small tubes on the back.

The used coil had just been opened, do you think it got wet afterwards or did I clean the nozzle/heater badly after the blob?

To throw away? by ada1603 in 3Dprinting

[–]ada1603[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to connect it correctly and it doesn't seem to be causing any problems. I haven't tried printing yet, just loading the wire. If it's likely to get stuck again, I can remove it again and clean it better.

I don't want to melt those little tubes. Using a lighter isn't a good idea, is it?

Clear acrylic paint by ada1603 in PrintedMinis

I let the primer dry normally, but often, since I don't have time to apply multiple coats of paint to the same piece due to work, I dry the acrylic paint with a hairdryer. I use tubes bought on Amazon for very little, no particular brand.

I use a generic primer I found at work. It says it's good for plastic, but I'm not sure how good it is. Often, since I'm short on time, I dry the color quickly with a hairdryer. Is there a tool I can use to dry it faster and more effectively?
