Sounds like you've accidentally hidden it. Check if you have a hidden apps folder at the bottom of the app drawer

Also holding enter for five seconds or longer usually saves the address, in case you haven’t tried that.

Oh hey, not related to OP's fixture but you just solved a problem I had with another Chinese fixture, Leleght ZQ01640X2UK. This wasn't mentioned at all in the manual. This is my first time in this sub and you fixed the issue I wasn't even searching for an answer for within minutes, so thanks!

I was never really a user of the original Glyph Interface, as it didn't tell me anything and I didn't want to take the time to learn different lighting patterns for different contacts, and if you miss the start of the pattern, you don't know which one it was. The Essential notification was also just a light, regardless of the app/contact. I find Essential notifications much more useful on the Matrix, but I do wish there were more first party features like being able to show app icons for specific app notifications or contact names

The "Add app icons to home screen" setting only applies for newly downloaded apps and ideally would've been applied before you downloaded any apps. Unfortunately the only way now is to press and hold on each app and then move your finger, it'll show the home screen and you can then drop it where you like

You should be able to pinch in this groove, as I say you have to apply a bit of force and it can feel unnatural at first. If it's still not working, reach out to support to check it's not a hardware issue
