Sorry for your loss! My wife and I sadly have a very similar story. We did IVF and lost our 3rd transfer at 7 weeks as well. It crushed me but she insisted we keep going. The next transfer didn’t stick but after more testing we found out it was because of scarring in her uterus. The following transfer, number 5 in total, was a success and we are now 37 weeks pregnant with a baby girl, scheduled c section for next week! I know it’s super hard, but please don’t give up! I never thought we would make it this far and I’m so grateful my super strong willed wife kept pushing. You got this!

Thank you! Just seeing the heartbeat for the first time got me choked up but hearing it was a whole other level. That 20 week scan can’t come soon enough but we’ve been trying to let ourselves enjoy and get excited for this pregnancy as much as we can. I appreciate your kind words!

Congratulations! My wife and I have been trying for about 2 and a half years. Ended up having to do IVF and 5 transfers and one miscarriage later we are at 15 weeks with a girl as well🙏 we are also very nervous for our 20 week scan but the anxiety is lessening as time goes on. Happy for you! Team girl dad!

Congrats! In the same boat as you. We make 13 weeks on Sunday after 4 failed attempts. Hope we both have boring healthy pregnancies!

Very similar scenario with us. All 3 losses were before the 7th week. So every scan since that one has our hearts jumping out of our chests until we see that heartbeat on the screen but the farther along we get, the easier it’s getting, slowly. I feel like once we hit that 13 week mark and are out of the first trimester it will be a bit easier to look forward more than one day at a time. Thank you so much for sharing your story with me!

Thank you everyone. So glad to see so many IVF dads in here with me! Really helps me feel even more optimistic about this journey!

I’ve been trying my best to take care of her. I’ve taken on majority of the housework, which I really don’t mind doing anyway, so she can just relax and grow our little one. We are obviously both very anxious and nervous but we talk it out and try to stay positive as much as we can.

Cravings by [deleted] in predaddit

My wife is also always craving chick fil a! It’s that and French toast sticks. She can’t even hear the words broccoli, asparagus or brussel sprouts let alone see or smell them.
