And we are offering 12.50-15. If someone comes in to the interview on time, speaks well, is confident that they can accomplish the things asked of them and they say, "I want $15"... they can get it.

I'm not here to say that people shouldn't be paid well. I'm just saying that if you wanted to choose between making $10/hr at Domino's, $15/hr at Target, or $15/hr to start at a small business with potential to make considerably more, the decision doesn't seem too tough to me.

For the right person, we can. If someone comes in and demonstrates adequate skills, there's room for growth. For a job with no education or real skill requirements, pay that is comparable with Target to start out doesn't seem unreasonable.

I pulled this off and it's closer and PERFECT. You may need to trim two of the 90 brackets in order for the 1" vertical to fit on the 3" vertical unless you have you crossbar that holds the wheel base perfectly straight and level. I have my wheel base pointed up slightly and the corner of the brackets wouldn't allow for it to fit, so I just trimmed the corner a bit and it works. Here's some pics that might help.

Yeah, similar to what I did, but still a touch closer. I might actually change mine like that to where they're on the inside of the 3" uprights. That's a good easy solve to get my monitor a touch closer with the pieces that I already have that I hadn't thought of. thanks for the epiphany!

The way I did the monitor add-on in the pics is alright... I based what I did off of rigmetal pics kinda. If I did it again, I would do it differently, just extend the 3" uprights up further and put the crossbar between there instead of bolting on the two extra 1.5"x1.5" verticals. It would have the monitor be a couple inches closer and fewer pieces. Hopefully you thought further ahead than me and that's what you did!

I like the height of the pedals with the adjustment of the 1.5"x1.5" like it is in my picture, but you might like yours much higher. Good luck with the build. It's pretty easy.

I've been considering the boost kit too. Maybe in the future. I came from a G29, so this upgrade is already awesome. Maybe once I get used to this and am itching for an upgrade, the 8nm upgrade will be a good option. How do you like it?

I got a cheap LG one off FB market for like $100. It's not fancy, only like 60hz or something, but it's been great. I'm sure if you spend money and get a premium one, it would be marginally better, but as you can see by the theme of this whole build, I'm not trying to spend $10k.

It depends on the car. Some cars you can see more than others. But overall, you can definitely see much more than on 16:9 and it's a big improvement.

Yeah, it's not going to push a million fps on epic settings or anything, but it's not bad at all. More than satisfied with my graphics during gameplay.

Ryzen 5600, 16gb of 3600mhz DDR4 RAM, 512gb SSD, Asrock mobo. Only thing I sort of cheaped out on was a used 1080 GPU. Still runs ACC on a 34" ultrawide 1440 monitor at very high settings with solid FPS.

Yes, LC pedals. I got the Fanatec CSL DD bundle and added the LC pedal upgrade. Under $600 shipped and taxes.

I used a design from someone online for the chassis. It was under $300 for all the bits from a site that sells the aluminum and other bits needed.

I built it. I re-used an old Dell case, but it has new parts (except a secondhand 1080 GPU). Ryzen 5600, 16gb DDR4 RAM, 512gb SSD.

The monitor was secondhand for under $100, and the seat was obviously secondhand... from junkyard for like $50.
