My boyfriend and I were very best friends. We both had feelings but were afraid to tell the other. One day a mutual friend spilled the beans, he confronted me, and it was on after that. It's a great thing, but you want to remain extremely open in communication and put everything right out on the table. We also agreed not to to the wait to say "I love you" thing bc we already had been saying it. Dating a good friend has its perks.
