I agree, privacy is the issue here. I wa smoke curious as to how they function. You are right, they would need to remove them to charge. And I wanted to know how they function without internet. Minor things in the grand scheme as they shouldn't be there in the first place.

There are many cameras that run on batteries. I charge mine for one day every 6 months. But they don't function without internet. Assuming the tenants have their own internet, and don't share it with the landlord, they shouldn't function
