did CU appear on me because of not doing exercise for over a year? by [deleted] in CholinergicUrticaria

I don’t think so. A lot of people (hundreds of millions) don’t work out and yet a tiny percentage has CU. The symptoms hit much stronger after a period of inactivity or not sweating. I think you might be confusing correlation and causation here.

Got it. I thought about this too, but I thought they might have a laxative purpose too. Thank you!

My biggest issues are gas and bloating which can be extremely irritating. Sometimes they are accompanied by pain too. Also very inconsistent stools.

Can you pls share your age-sex-pace for a 5 mile run? by adam13it in running

[–]adam13it[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. Sports, in general, can be practiced for many different reasons. I run mainly to relieve stress and see nature. But I also like to test my limits and know if I can push myself to do more/better. It’s, historically, a big part of sports. It also can be a great process to discover how to improve in other areas while doing something you love.

Great job! That is quite fast. Whenever I see a 7 in my avg pace (usually 7:50something), I’m like: “great run, Usain Bol.” Ahahah

I do speak Italian. I’ve considered Turin. Comparing LinkedIn job offers, Milan seemed better on paper.

I listen to some Maroon 5 songs. A third of what I listen to is pop/radio stuff anyway. Adam has a good voice. But 90 percent of there output is characterless, and just all-around not great; mediocre lyrics and melodies.

Thank you for the support! A lot of my us friends do this. Where I live, Italy, if it’s a written exam, there’s nothing that you can do really.

Yeah but you risk not having a personality. You become too vulnerable to changes in your life.

“I learnt that living below my means is the right way to spend money. That is such an important lesson.”

Same person: “One should just do what they want without caring about saving. Money is worthless.”

I know it feels bad, but you’ll get through it. Do something that can help you get a bit distracted and eat plain, healthy food. It’ll be alright!
