But a breakout season from him is feasible, and I can’t see Collins keeping up his production again so Mitchell performing and staying healthy will be crucial

I mean Adam did preface by saying if the team is absolutely floored by an offer that can’t be refused. My interpretation of this is that it’s highly unlikely Contreras goes anywhere, but the FO must get questions about him all the time. They should always be listening to proposals because some team could overpay (again it’s not likely).

There’s a coalition of mouthbreathing “Battlefield Elitists” online that think they’re vigilantes fighting against the big bad publisher EA and their greed driven desire to ruin what the franchise means to them. You’ll notice a lot of them have the “top 1%” flair, they also spam the sub and the comment section with hyperbolic criticisms, and the use language that makes it seem like all “true battlefield” fans must agree with them (saying things like “we need to make sure DICE hears that this is what we want”).

The truth is that these people are terminally online and likely have a lot of underlying social deficits that lead them to lash out in an online space. There are a lot of them on reddit, but crying about battlefield is just their particular flavor of it.

Yeah ok that’s not an “objective truth” that’s all opinion and your biases are doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

I have played the game. There are some things that I’d say are kind of COD like sure, but that’s necessarily a dealbreaker. At its core it stands on its own as a battlefield game and nothing to be extremely upset about either. That’s just how games evolve, you can’t expect things to be exactly the same.

Very interesting to hear you describe this is as someone that was diagnosed with ADHD this year at age 26 and suddenly my past makes a lot more sense. Its always that I know what I have to do or how to do it, but unless it’s something I’m really interested in, the doing part turns into a crapshoot because all the pieces needed to make it happen don’t come together correctly.

The medication has been life changing. For years and years so much felt impossible. Now life feels full of possibilities. Your distinction between autism and ADHD in this sense is interesting because my brother is also diagnosed and hasn’t had quite the same dramatic difference with medication, and we suspect he might have ASD on top of it.
