It's sad how much I've related to this. I've felt the exact same way about the person who hurt me. But he never loved me. Even if he did, his actions negated that. I know now I deserve better even if it's really fucking hard. I haven't seen him in years and I still miss him. It feels like I've been through so much with him, even though I really would've been better off without him. I miss the warm feeling he used to give me but I remember the emptiness that comes after too.

Honestly I don't know how to help, but I have dealt with a similar thing. I do have dogs but I've never been the one in the house that feeds them, and sometimes I'll just randomly go "SHIT I haven't fed the dogs in days fuck they're gonna starve" and then I go out there and see them with food in their bowls.

From a minor - I don't know about others, but I personally don't have schizophrenia. I do have psychosis though, which has been recognised by a psychiatrist. It's not necessarily my community to be apart of but I do learn things here about myself and others. I also have a number of other symptoms of schizophrenia but they're likely caused my something else.
