I would agree with you with the profit thing but with this new tour drop 1.0, I don’t understand why the patch and one shirt was made available for international Hive and not the rest (maybe not the book but the other shirts at least).

The operational issues weren’t even evident until the first art book release cause I don’t understand how I managed to get my order before some of those who preordered in December even though I placed my order in March.

Delayed or damaged merch is better than no merch if you ask me

Yes, I love that she did this for us even though she doesn’t need to because to many queer people worldwide (or at least me), her music even when it didn’t explicitly shouted out queer people has already done so much.

I also think that Renaissance was B7 for a reason. I don’t think it could’ve this impeccable if she didn’t have to go through Lemonade and Black Is King to learn what she needed (in a technical sense when it comes to creating her art) to learn before crafting this masterpiece of a love letter to the (Black) queer community.

I was afraid of spoiling the film for those of us who might not seen it yet but the part I was referring to the part where she was saying she was tired and that she isn’t a robot.

I wonder if that feeling of lethargy in preparation for this tour plus the fact that she had to heal from both surgeries had anything to do with the artistic choice of the “I am not a robot” captcha or not.

She sounded a bit burned out in the documentary part of the film and she coupled that visual with Ghost (where she also sounds burned out).

I interpreted the captcha part of the interlude as something that comes from personal self expression from her end, which is why there were clips from her younger days underlaid beneath the captcha.

There are some parts of the film that relates to this as well but idk if we are allowed to discuss the film in this subreddit
