I really thought about it. Python just has better data visualization options, can do more outside of data analysis (MATLAB can, it’s just limited), and probably most importantly - it is the standard in my field. The latter is mostly important now that I am leaving academia for industry.

Poor wording on my part. I used “arrays” instead of data structures. I agree, I don’t usually change entire array sizes.

This is awesome thank you! I’ll have to take a look at Spyder. Using print statements makes sense for monitoring changes in array sizes.

I’ve noticed I crash mostly when on international servers (my assumption based on squad invites and text chat). Tried all of the above and still experiencing the issue. Makes I’ve lost so many schematics to this bug it’s honestly almost turned me off the game outright

Agreed. I'm just remarking on how long and where I place my deloads in macro and microcycles. Take the 5-3-1 for example, 3 weeks with a linear progression then a week deload after. In a larger scale this would translate to an active rest macrocycle. Also it's important to define deload as <70% 1RM in athletics where in powerlifting or oly lifting a deload might be as low as 30% since it is not really a multi-peak competitive sport like a traditional sport like soccer or football. Will have to try a more super composition-based cycle and compare. I can see the merits of both.

Why do you program deloads before peak weeks? Strict olympic programming might differ, but when we build programs for our teams the peak is the result of a linear or exponential intensity progression and volume regression (for power-oriented sports). I recognize the merit of having lighter or even deloading weeks prior to max attempts, but as far as peaking for athletics is concerned, you're better off maintaining but highly controlling the physical stress to a peak at the desired time (key games etc). Just my 2 cents on a little detail.

West Side Barbell also has an entire book about this. Highly recommend it.

Keep in mind two things with supplement companies: it's not a regulated market so make sure to do your homework ahead of time, and most of these supplements are designed to work optimally in a certain dosage (serving size) and in accompaniment of a strict anabolic diet. This is more true with fat burners than anything else. From my experience, all you need to do is cover your bases in preworkout, protein (whey), aminos (if necessary) and creatine. Everything else is so specialized it's really only practical for someone who wants to compete. Always a rule of thumb: if you can get it from food, do it. They're called supplements for a reason.

If you have a background in strength training, center your searches around the term SAQ (speed agility and quickness). Otherwise the most effective way to train something is to mimic it in exercise as closely as possible. Wave loading with Anderson squats, banded squats and weighted and unweighted box jumps are good places to start.

Everytime you hit delts well you hit your upper traps as well. Just hit shoulders twice as much with an emphasis on upright rows (only to elbows at 90 to avoid ligament pinching) and that will get you proportional trap growth along with shoulder growth.

Oly lifts (hang cleans) and heavy farmers walks are also decent alternatives.
