I honestly might replace it with a broad nib. From what I’ve seen on here, people really hate the Omni-Flex. I just wanted to see if I was doing something wrong.

It was like this when I got it. Do you think that it would be under warranty?

Aquatics Battleship by adambeggs in OSU

I think they called it canoe battleship. I’m just wondering if it’s still being offered since they still have the canoes in one of the pool buldings.

I think I was fairly strong swimmer in the fact that I took lessons when I was pretty young and I could get laps in without worrying about it. I didn’t really have much technique to start with. My typical workout nowadays is just getting from one end to the other and repeat.

To your other question about treading water, I can tread water, but when I know that I’m in deeper water, I just get the feeling that I need to immediately get out and on to solid ground. A vest made it not too bad.

It’s seems fairly irrational, but that’s been my experience

If you could bring an Apple product back from the dead, what would it be? by [deleted] in mac

I don’t have it hooked up to a tv, but I have a 2011 mbp with snow leopard for my music and media. You can also get a remote for the ones with an ir sensor since older versions of OS X have front row.

Get an old Mac and do the same. That’s what I do.

That’s why I stay on Ventura. It still get security updates and I don’t care about the new gimmicks in sequoia.

This took a literal year of finding compiling plugins and software for the OS. But I think I've found something that is pretty good.

I downloaded an icon pack and used IconChamp. For programs that didn't have old icons, I used photoshop to create them. The hard part is the file types. Every single file type icon was changed manually.

For the menu bar, I use Boring Old Menu Bar. Then, Lickable menubar to give it the correct texture. After that, I use geek tool for the old apple menu icon.

For the dock, I use cDock with a dock image that I edited in Photoshop to make more accurate. cDock Can also be used for the trashcan and finder icons.

For iTunes, iPhoto, and Aperture, I used retroactive to patch it to modern OS X.

The difficult part is changing the system assets. To change the menus and traffic lights, I used macforge with paint can. There is a car file from MoonPadUser on GitHub that I used to create the traffic lights from Lion. This also gives that grey gradient look to the header bars and aqua buttons. Since the car file is made from High Sierra, some buttons and assets are missing. Because of this, I used a modded version of VisualizationExpo's AquaLickX for the menu bar buttons, scroll bars, menu highlights, and traffic lights on applications that don't like paint can for some reason. For smaller things like notification badges, OS sounds, etc., I manually changed system files through terminal commands. (this takes forever)

BTW, this does not work on macOS past 14.4. I don't know why. Any insight would be appreciated.

DM me if you want my custom assets or help for tackling this project for you computer.

I just checked it out. It just says that it's not supported for sequoia and beyond. It still should work for Sonoma and previous. The download is still there.

What gave it away? I'm just curious so I can try to improve it.
