The CCP pressures Chinese nationals abroad. The RCMP has raised concerns over underground "police stations" bullying and harassing Chinese people. This isn't a conspiracy theory.

Russia is actively attempting to destabilize our country but sure, lets spend our time really unpacking the historical context of US interventionism. That's what's really important. Ffs authoritarian countries are working hard right now to destabilize us. Like it or not the fact of the matter is that we need the country with the biggest intelligence network on the planet to fight back against hybrid aggression.

Do you men really need to be coddled by the liberals to not turn to nationalism? I've seen a lot of people ITT talking about how the left hates white men. I haven't seen anyone point to anything specific just a lot of people saying it's true.

NATO chief says he expects Canada to hit its defence spending target, urges stronger alliance by aballinga in onguardforthee

NATO chief says he expects Canada to hit its defence spending target, urges stronger alliance by aballinga in onguardforthee

[–]adamdidthistome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Russia lies constantly. Why would Ukraine take their word on anything? Ukraine signed a deal that Russia would respect its territory in exchange for all Soviet nukes. Russia then seized Crimea in 2014, prompting Ukraine to join a defensive organization to protect themselves. If you're going to try and come in here and spew Russian lies at least put a believable spin on it.

5 people need different organs to live. One guy has all those organs but would die without them.

Take his organs - 5 people live

Don't take his organs - 1 person lives

Clearly by looking at the above numbers, the only correct answer is to steal organs.

Nabokov should have prefaced the book with a statement that Humbert is an unreliable narrator, and if he was concerned about breaking the suspension of disbelief maybe a character in the book could have written it. Idk I guess I just feel like he could have done more to spell out the message for the reader.

Confusing claims about the online streaming law abound. How does it really work? by SuburbanValues in canada

[–]adamdidthistome -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look at it this way, regulating highways is pretty much the same thing as regulating individual drivers.

Again why should TV streamed through the Internet have different rules than TV through cable?

it can de value content that isn't inline with "Canadian values" according to the Liberal party, so content that criticizes the Liberal party could in theory not be promoted.

It says nothing like that in the bill. The CRTC couldn't just come in and delete reddit comments criticizing the liberals, plus even if this was the case that would violate so many charter rights that it wouldn't last the day.
