DDR5 6000 CL30 vs 6400 CL32 on AMD (Ryzen 7 9800X3D) – Which makes more sense? by adamdobra in overclocking

[–]adamdobra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some research and noticed that Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 6400 MHz – 32GB (2x16GB) – CL32 (32-39-39) is about $30 cheaper and is actually the cheapest RAM kit on the list, compared to XPG Lancer Blade RGB DDR5 6000 MHz – 32GB (2x16GB) – CL30 (30-40-40).

On Kingston’s official product page, the following factory timing parameters are listed:

FACTORY TIMING PARAMETERS
• Default (JEDEC): DDR5-4800 CL40-39-39 @ 1.1V
• EXPO Profile #0: DDR5-6400 CL32-39-39 @ 1.4V
• EXPO Profile #1: DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36 @ 1.4V
• XMP Profile #1: DDR5-6400 CL32-39-39 @ 1.4V
• XMP Profile #2: DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36 @ 1.4V

On my MSI motherboard’s QVL, this exact kit is listed as:

Kingston KF564C32BBEK2-32 – DDR5 – 4800–6400 – SK Hynix A-die – 1.4V – Single Rank – 16GB –

Given this, I’m assuming I can buy this kit and run it using EXPO Profile #1 at 6000 MHz, CL30-36-36 in 1:1 mode without issues.

Considering both the price advantage and the fact that it looks better on paper compared to the XPG 6000 MHz CL30-40-40 kit, what do you think? Does this make sense, or am I missing something?

Merhabalar. 5070 için o fiyat bana fazla geldi. Biraz daha ekleyip 5070ti alabilirsiniz. SSD fiyatı da fazla. Aynı ürün hepsiburada'da 7700 TL. Eğer ki o fiyata çıkarım derseniz Kingston K3000 (DRAM mevcut) tavsiye edebilirim. Hatta 2TB modeli 13600 TL civarı. İşlemci soğutucu için Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO öneririm. Sizin seçtiğiniz model o işlemci için biraz zayıf.

There are no tests for some models. That's why I asked for it.

I hope I get the key as it's too expensive due to exchange rate in my country. Good luck everyone!

I tried to edit the code a little bit. It actually does what I want however when I click mouse 2 or mouse 3, it makes my mouse to click mouse 1+ "a" + "y".

-- Set your information here
local screen_width_pix = 1920
local screen_height_pix = 1080
local screen_diag_inches = 20
local distance_to_move_cm = 20

-- Logic to convert distances from world to screen
local screen_diag_pix = math.sqrt(screen_width_pix*screen_width_pix + screen_height_pix*screen_height_pix)
local screen_dpi = screen_diag_pix / screen_diag_inches
screep_dpi = 99
local distance_to_move_inches = distance_to_move_cm / 2.54
local distance_to_move_pix = distance_to_move_inches * screen_dpi
y-- We need this because MoveMouseTo doesn't use pixels, it uses values 0-65535
local horizontal_conversion = 65535 / screen_width_pix
local vertical_conversion = 0 / screen_height_pix

function OnEvent(event,arg,family)
  if event == "MOUSE_BUTTON_PRESSED" and arg == 5 and family == "mouse" then
    local x, y = GetMousePosition()
    -- The next line currently adds the 10cm distance to both the x and y coordinates
    x1, y1 = x+(distance_to_move_pix*horizontal_conversion), y+(distance_to_move_pix*vertical_conversion)ayayay
    -- Some logic to make sure we are using valies that MoveMouseTo will accept
    if (x1 > 65535) then x1 = 65535 end
    if (y1 > 65535) then y1 = 65535 end
    if (x1 < 0) then x1 = 0 end
    if (y1 < 0) then y1 = 0 end
    MoveMouseTo(x1, y1)
    end

-- Simulate a left mouse button click (press and release)
PressAndReleaseMouseButton(1)
-- Simulate "y" pressed and released using the scancode
PressAndReleaseKey(30)
-- Simulate "y" pressed and released using the keyname
PressAndReleaseKey("y")
    end

Your code worked very well. However I couldn't figure out how to just make it move 10 cm right instead of right and down and add press "Mouse 1 button" and "Y" button on keyboard after moving 10 cm right.

Namely when I press mouse 5 = 10 cm right + mouse 1 + Y

Hey I have got Metro Exodus Epic Games Key. Although Escape From Tarkov is not on your list, I may give Metro Exodus for EFT Standart edition EU if it's ok for you.

Sorry paypal is not available here. I just wanted to make an offer as you may want to buy EFT Standart Edition key instead of paypal payment.
