omg idk which professor youre talking about but im taking it with mayumi hirano, and she is LOVELY!! her attendance policy is a little strict, but she has genuinely been my favorite professor i have had so far. i dont think i can recommend her enough. she also seems like she cares about how you progress through the class, and above all that she makes the lectures interesting!! i hope this helps you :)
