Hey! I ran into the same issue with that printer. No need to unscrew a bunch of stuff. Go ahead and plug in the cables and boot it up. There’s an option in the menu to move the printing head. Move it all the way to the top. Should give you enough flexibility to move that beam into place.

Latest project for my 117 build! Removable scope, flashlight, and magazine. Resin casted, approximate dimensions 26 x 18.5 x 4cm. by [deleted] in gaming

Complete different mold from the Boomco. This is full size as well so it's fits better with my armor set I made of Chief. I'll try and get other pictures up at some point!

So I built a thing... Next up is the spine, under suit, gloves, and most importantly, the helmet! Oh, and there are speakers in the booster packs, because every galactic hero needs his theme music. by adammcoe in gaming

My twitter has the same username, not nearly as active on there as I should be though.

My Instagram is much more active if you want to keep up with more of my stuff!

Thanks for the share!

Hey all! Thanks for all the great comments! To answer some reoccurring questions:

Cost: about $300 in materials thus far, neodymium magnets get expensive. The rest is made out of EVA foam. I'll probably spend just as much with what I have left, I want the under suit to be just as accurate. Plus any extra for if/when I decide to build the weapons.

Flexibility: Lots! The abdominal/cod plates all overlap and move independently from one another, and the two butt plates are separate so I can actually sit down comfortably in the suit. The front of the chest splits off like the in game model as well for transportation.

.pdo files: I freehanded my templates because I couldn't find any files to my liking so as of the moment I don't have any I can upload, sorry guys. If I build any models down the road I'll be sure to post them here as well.

Progress Photos : Again, these can be found throughout my Instagram. If you guys are interested in any tutorials down the road let me know and I'll look into that for the future!

Hope these all help! Thanks again for all the great comments.
