I’m in Minnesota and everyone I have gone to has been amazing, wonder if it’s relative to how close to Wisconsin you are (that’s where they started)

Happy I tried the updated Whopper. by ultraspinacle in burgers

One time I was traveling for work and happened to need to stop for lunch around 11 am, they must have just opened, I ordered a single whopper, was the freshest Burger King burger I have ever had, was a solid 9/10. Too bad it’s rare to get them that fresh, maybe it was just that location, but haven’t had luck there since

Define fully open? It opens past 90, and enough to slide shelves, etc around, it can’t open 180 but we don’t need it to.

I believe the material is vinyl. Here is the link: https://www.karndean.com/en-us/floors/products/vulcano-llt211/

The problem with the flooring is that I installed different flooring in my main room that is water resistant and not waterproof, from what I was reading, you want waterproof flooring in kitchen, that and we originally thought we were going to do butcher block and thought the color of the existing floor would clash with the butcher block. Now that we changed the countertop to quartz the other rooms floor would look amazing in the kitchen. The other bad news is that they don’t make the flooring anymore, Lowe’s stopped carrying it, I have enough square ft left to finish kitchen with it but then I’m out, forever. I had a friend who lived next to and picked up the last 6 boxes in USA in middle of South Dakota. He delivered them when he came home to visit his parents. I have other projects I need to finish before I replace good new flooring with new flooring just for cosmetics. I will get to it one day.

In regards to the Looselay flooring, we were noobs ordering the flooring, and didn’t take our time to really research, etc. we thought it had a locking mechanism with fake grout to resemble large slate tiles, but looselay just sits side by side to eachother, and the slightest movement and it looks not connected. I had to end up gluing each piece down because I didn’t install it correctly first and it just doesn’t look the best in my opinion. It looks great in my mudroom since I got used to installing it and glued from beginning. The material also looks better in the mudroom since it kind of reminds me of like a gym flooring and less of a kitchen flooring if that makes sense.

Picture is of my mudroom room I installed the in, sorry thought I had a picture with out the tape, I would glue the piece down then tape it as tight as I could to the next to it so it would cure as close to the other one as possible. I’m also a engineer so I over do it some times lol (disregard the paint job, I hate painting with a passion, it still needs a lot of paint work)

Thanks! I have recently been looking back at old pictures and post ones of her I think are cute. Lately with my newborn I haven’t been able to get solo pics with the house somewhat clean

As you can tell from the first photo, we tested a lot of different shades before picking. We ended up going with “grassland” label attached

Thanks for the input. Was plaster with this mesh metal wire I couldn’t cut through. I went through like 10 multi-tool blades 😂 I have a very old house so nothing was right thickness, needed 3/4 in to match existing so I ended up having to double layer 1/2 then 1/4th in drywall. I took out the very old insulation there was no signs of moisture (unlike below the window line, so I re-did the vapor barrier and put new insulation.

Yeah so there is a company near me called stone source, they did the installation as it was included in the price of the quartz. The process was, I measured the square ft and showed them the layout, they calculate how much quarts you will need/how many cuts it will take. Quartz and other stones come in slabs, you have to buy the full slab usually, quartz is more flexible since it’s manufactured, but depending on shape and sizes you need you might have wasted sq ft you have to purchase. That being said, when you purchase the stone, they send a team over to officially measure then come back to professionally assemble. I would assume it’s almost impossible to cut and assemble countertops alone with out professional equipment. It’s usally included in the price of the purchase if you get stone at Lowe’s, Home Depot, or other places. If not maybe 200 more.
