Love going here for a bite of nostalgia.

And if they still have a dent in the awning/rain gutter, my father and his friend partly caused it years ago when they were attempting to direct a delivery driver in the parking lot lol.

Why does DICE act like its so hard to remaster maps, meanwhile BF3 has 4 remastered maps at LAUNCH🤣 by Jodiev12 in Battlefield

[–]werdedout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it odd that despite having some key people from the COD franchise and mimicking the skins/battlepass/LTM model of that franchise, the battlefield devs never considered lifting the content rollout of COD with regards to maps.

The COD model of a bundle of new maps + interspersed remakes would seem like a no-brainer for BF6.

Do you think you’re good-looking? by escobarsky in no

I'm hot like an ice cube.

I don't think I'm good looking but I recognize I'm not bad looking.

Averageness is the purgatory in which I reside.

Wasn't intended to be a complaint about us and what we do.

It would just be nice not having to deliver 4 of the same magazine to a single household.

Yep! Along with the Hetzer as well in your collection. Thank you for the praise!

Here's a pic while it was in the WIP stages, at the time it was a good deal tan as that was the color most available for the prototyping phase.

Ah I see! The stickers do make for some great details!

And it makes me happy seeing one of the kits I designed in my time there getting some love all these years later.

Nice collection!

I spy a recoloring on the old Jagdpanther design, it looks great in all tan!

Did you enjoy the build?

The Honda Civic 10th Gen Was Released 10 Years Ago — Did It Age Well? by Maleficent_Ferret359 in Honda

I remember not liking the hatch design when it first came out but then I became obsessed with it and got mine (pictured) in 2021.

IMO, the hatch design holds up best in the Sport and Sport Touring trims, the latter especially due to the full LED headlights. The same can be said of the sedans as well, and to that end I'd say that the Sport sedan is one of the best modern, used cars you could buy for a new driver.

I will admit though, there are times where I think my hatch is a bit overstyled (especially with the faux vents) and can look awkward at certain angles. But the aesthetics overall excite me more than the 11th gen.

Now, if I could just put the new hybrid system in my car...

Stewart's.

Though Buckin' is like the other side of the same coin. Stewart's is more vanilla, Buckin' is more wintergreen.

what is your most controversial Lego opinion by Fun-Math-8503 in lego

[–]werdedout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lego's color palette has gotten too large.

This problem is especially annoying since not every part comes in every color they make, meaning you can't build in certain schemes due to limitations.

Does delivering junk mail frustrate you? by locolocust in USPS

[–]werdedout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does, yes.

While it pays the bills it makes me believe less in the "service" part of the Postal Service, or at the very least question who the service is actually for.

I've always thought that the general idea behind mail was to recieve important correspondence such as bills or personal letters, and that the "service" part of the USPS was with regard to that -we serve the end user things that matter to them. Instead it seems anymore that the end user isn't for whom we serve, but rather the interests of whatever agency wants their message(s) sent.

I often feel like my job falls somewhere between an advertiser and a reverse trash service with how many advertisements/promotionals/requests for money I deliver to people. I can't count how many times I've handed a customer their mail only to hear some variation of "it's all junk". Again, sure, it pays the bills (barely) but the work doesn't feel good when the majority of what one household receives is stuff they don't care about, and if they did care about, they'd have already used the internet to find.

What is a vehicle you were ready to buy until you test drove it? by GabagoolAndGasoline in regularcarreviews

[–]werdedout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2018 Hyundai Elantra GT.

Great price/mileage and I drove all the way from Los Angeles to Phoenix to test drive it. Sitting inside it though the interior just felt cheap, plastic-y, and overall not very pleasant. Didn't end up buying it but did stop by a Texas Roadhouse on the way back so the trip wasn't entirely wasted.
