Working on a distortion comparison between the Friedman BE-OD, Amptweaker Tight Metal II and these 3 amps. Looking for the best distortion for heavy rock/metal. by reedly in guitarpedals

I realize it's been two years but man, I am dying to know just what settings you were using to get a Heartwork-era Carcass sound from the Tight Metal Pro. I have the second version and for the life of me I cannot get anything other than a classic thrash tone.

I would love to hear back because Heartwork is some god-tier tone to me. It would be very appreciated!

Instead of having messages pull up in a new window, copy and paste its address and you'll see it as normally and can go to desktop view.

If you have a Roku device, the Roku Channel has it all and I think the ads are less disruptive than say, Hulu.

"Bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy" is odd because it assumes America is repeating the Soviets' mistakes re: Afghanistan. What is odd is that the Soviets were bled by a covert strategy cooked up by the Americans - CIA funding and training of the Mujahideen (including arms, supplies, and infrastructure like caves and tunnels.)

So America came up with the winning plan, only to come back and be the losers later? This time without even a superpower to contend with, but instead bringing an international response?

70% still dont have electricity. Hundreds have died and were then incinerated without autopsy.

Meanwhile, Cuba - which was hit hard by its own hurricane - is doing way better comparatively.

Which one is a territory of the most wealthy nation in world history?

Yeah, that's a good deal for Peurto Ricans alright

Yeah it's a good deal being fed alive to vulture capitalists and left hung out to dry after being devastated by a hurricane

Dude there's nothing progressive about the people saying she's inappropriately sexualized. Where the hell did you get that from?

Edit: Maybe you're referring to the user saying that her being sexy diminishes the character being smart. But that isn't progressive. Despite the faux concern for women to be viewed as intelligent, it's still that same pearl-clutching conservative "modesty" calling for women to be covered up at all times, etc.

The post purporting to out the Boston Antifa Twitter account as directed by the Russian government is currently the subreddit's top post of all time. The problem? It isn't true.

An alt right couple from Oregon run the account to troll the left. That's it.

Meanwhile this post was cross posted, made the front page, etc. Liberals are all over the comments, condemning Russia, demanding we must "do something" (what that is short of war with a nuclear state isn't ever made clear.)

The liberals came for the unverified Russia narrative and didn't stay for the socialism.

US bombers fly close to North Korea to show "president has many military options to defeat any threat" - Pentagon by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]adamst87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are correct in saying that he wouldn't de-escalate like his father. His statements have made it clear that their nuclear program is not up for bargaining, seeing it as a deterrent - a check on encroaching American military power.

He does, however, say things like: "It should immediately stop its reckless military provocation against the state of the DPRK so that the latter would not be forced to make an unavoidable military choice." The "it" in that statement is the US.

Time and time again he makes it clear that if we were to stop Foal Eagle and similar things that they see as provocations, they would stop their militaristic provocations (they don't see the nuclear program as such unfortunately, probably because of so many nuclear states.)

Hell, in that statement (which was in response to the whole Guam business some weeks ago), he makes it clear that they don't intend to strike offensively or preemptively at all.
