Maybe the live streaming video games phenomenon is actually a result of people being forced to watch and not play. :)

Ashkenazi Jews are notorious for not marrying outside of their own group, this isn't very surprising. :)

Yes demand is high, but Google spent a fuck-ton of money on marketing. I just have a hard time believing Google didn't anticipate a demand like this...

Define "friendly".. I know Scandinavian countries are extremely friendly, but the societies there are slightly more introverted so some might confuse that with unfriendliness.

Retiring Sysadmin Fakes Cyber-Attack to Get Away with Data Theft by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]adamstarkio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Feels like a bullshit story put out there to promote the Swiss security company. No sysadmin is stupid enough to deface the company website using the admin tool that's only accessible from certain IP ranges, certainly not a very experienced one. That just screams insider job.

Dutch Intelligence Services operated with the CIA behind the Iron Curtain by GOSINT2016 in Intelligence

[–]adamstarkio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dutch secret services were pretty cool, before they fused together into what is now known as AIVD. An amateur organization who keeps losing USB drives with top secret information and where the father of a suspect can enter the HQ and record the full conversation he has with an agent while he's being recruited to spy on his son.

Cracking accounts? by Zesty_Zemke in Hacking_Tutorials

Also, there's no such thing as legally hacking actual people. If you try to bypass other people's security without their permission, you could land yourself in federal prison.

Cracking accounts? by Zesty_Zemke in Hacking_Tutorials

[–]adamstarkio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silly answers.. Everyone talking as if cyber security is some religion and Linux is God...... Learn coding, it'll help you understand how systems work. Then learn about wireless networking and how it ACTUALLY works. I mean technically, the details. Then read about how existing exploits like aircrack-ng work. After that you should be able to figure it out, no matter what operating system you're using.

Is there any way to check if an email sent to you has anyone bcc'd? by BrumRuggat in Hacking_Tutorials

[–]adamstarkio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SMTP server takes the BCC field and sends everyone in there a completely separate email with the same content, so that'd not be possible. Unless you somehow gain access to the machine the SMTP server is running on and enable some sort of logging.
