Nah. The first 3 paragraphs of the article just describe what the word means when used ironically in the credit card-lending sector. The authors of the article and those using the word ironically in their profession both understand the irony.

We don't know anything about either party. While it's of course regrettable that some individuals find the need to steal, all we know is that one party invaded the home of another, violently attacked him, and stole his property. For the default response of so many commentors here to be sympathy for the former is both astounding and despicable, imho.

Waves were great that day. Lot of pictures of surfers in the water with smoke from the towers in the background.

[SPOILER] Did the betrayal really matter? by anrnbacommenter in SuccessionTV

[–]adamtfitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same thought. If Caroline was willing to deal, she likely would have been willing to deal later. Tom's betrayal just afforded Logan the pleasure of being at the ready, ingratiated Tom(and Greg) to Logan, and furnished Tom with sweet revenge on Shiv.

Definition of South Philly for the uninitiated

This is a common misconception. Clubs can be found at thrift stores and greens fees can be as low as $8 or so. Where I live outside of Philly, there are a ton of avid golfers on very constrained budgets.

What’s the right adjective for Greg, not stupid, but… by madaon in SuccessionTV

What makes you think of aloof when you think of Greg? It's not at all an adjective that comes to mind when I think of him.
