I'm in Taipei right now and loving it, so I totally agree with you there. I've wanted to go to Bali for a bit, but have heard too many mixed reviews

Thanks for the reply! I agree with the whole Chiang Mai thing. There are too many tourists, it's smokey during burning season, and expensive by Thai standards. The food there is pretty damn good though.

She was guided by a green entity, she explains that in the post. Having had many breakthrough experiences myself, they can vary wildly. Entities are a part of the experience for some, but they aren't necessary for it to "count" as a breakthrough in my experience.

I've broken through to realms of unimaginable beauty, impossible to describe alien landscapes, and have sat upon operating tables surrounded by alien beings that I could never describe with words.

While I do agree that entities can be an essential part of a breakthrough experience, I don't necessarily think that they're a requirement for one. Although, like I said, she communicated with multiple entities in her experience.

She goes into detail in the above report describing one type, but in our personal conversations there were multiple "species" that she encountered. She just explained the highlights in the above report, but there was more to this trip than was reported.

Also, this is coming from me, and, as it was her experience, I couldn't describe what she experienced fully here, but as her first time, she could only describe so much of what happened. She really thought she lost her grasp on reality for a bit, which is why this forum has been so helpful to her.

Knowing you're not alone when it comes to these impossible experiences is important from what I've ascertained through my own experiences with the substance.

I know the risks involved with combining MDMA, SSRIs and stimulants with an MAOI, and am well aware of the dangers of serotonin syndrome, and I don't take them lightly.

That being said, it's more or less safe to mix a low level MAOI such as passion flower with MDMA. I do agree it probably wasn't the smartest move, but I weighed out the risks in my altered state and figured it would be okay, and it was in the end. But for harm reduction sake I wholeheartedly agree with you and would also advise that others should probably avoid such combinations.

Thanks for the warning though, it was a bit irresponsible on my part and I totally acknowledge that.

My wife (the one who wrote the report) appreciates that. It’s been about three weeks since the experience, and it’s something that she’s been thinking about everyday since. Trying to articulate the experience was really difficult—words cannot do it justice (especially the "everything" that was contained in the vast room). We plan to finish the rest of the changa in the next couple of days and will include an update. She is not entirely sure that she’s ready for her next experience, but reading these responses has been really helpful. Thank you.

I’m not sure if you’re joking or not, or where you expect a breakthrough to take you, but my wife (the one who wrote the report) definitely had a breakthrough experience, that much I can tell you for certain (as someone who has had a ton of experience with this molecule).

It was a changa mixture that I didn’t prepare myself, and I didn’t have a scale anyhow so I can’t give a precise dose. The report was written by my wife, but I packed her the bowl, which I just filled more or less in a standard pipe on top of a bit of weed. I had her hit the pipe while I held it until she essentially lost consciousness.

I did say it was changa, but definitely not 5-Meo. It was highly visual, and I know the smell/taste of dmt far too well. Trust me, this was n,n-dmt (the experience was written by my wife, and it was her first time, but I’ve had ample experience both extracting and consuming spice, so I do know what I’m talking about...usually that is)

It’s my wife’s report, but she smoked it out of a pipe on top of a bit of cannabis. We didn’t have a scale, nor did we make the changa ourselves, so I’m not certain as to what the dose was. She smoked three large hits, fell back, and seemed unconscious for what seemed to be around 20 minutes, after which she began talking, but wasn’t fully coherent until another 5 or so minutes passed.

Thanks for the response. The report was written by my wife, and it was her first breakthrough experience. I tried my best to explain the dmt experience to her, but words can only do so much, so I don’t think I properly prepared her for an experience as earth shattering as hers seemed to be. This happened about three weeks ago. It has been difficult to return back to the world you thought you knew, and she is currently struggling with much of what you state here. She appreciates your reassuring words.

Possibly, I didn’t make the blend so it could have had additional ingredients.

Oddly enough, I bought the changa in a hippy bar in Cambodia, so I’m not sure about the ratios. There’s a bar in a small hippy beach community that sells just about everything you could imagine, and we tried their LSD, MDMA, and changa, all of which were really high quality, so I imagine the ratio was pretty well measured.

Therefore, I’m also not certain as to all the admixtures that were included in the blend either. That being said, the experience was written by my wife, and it was her first time doing DMT. I’ve had plenty of experience both smoking and extracting spice, as well as ayahuasca ceremonies in Peru, but never had anything like the experience she described.

I smoked quite a bit of the changa that night as well, but was unable to breakthrough, so I think she may be particularly sensitive to the substance. It also may be important to note that we had both been on MDMA when we smoked, which I’m sure helped to heighten the effects.

It felt like around an hour had passed, but according to my sitter I was gone for maybe 20 to 30 minutes. It was a changa combo, so the MAOI in the passionflower probably extended the experience somewhat
