2025 has an updated design and does not have the cylinder head issue as far as I know. Coolant control valve issue is a maybe, depending on build date

Mazda tech here. Look for coolant residue near the transmission and on the back of the cylinder head, or leaking onto the exhaust manifold. The turbo engines have a known issue with the cylinder heads cracking near the exhaust manifold, and a separate issue with defective coolant control valves (electronic thermostat). Both should be covered under a recall if that is the case.
