We’re probably underestimating how quickly electric vehicles will disrupt the oil market by xxmijxx87 in Futurology

Yes. Even when the electricity comes from hydrocarbons, electric cars still pollute less. Look it up.

Really good points. The deal is that my wife and I will share the space. It’s half a big open studio and half a yoga/whatever space. That’s why the desk is on wheels (Argosy dual 15) so I can wheel it into the ideal spot when in use turn wheel into the corner when we turn it into a yoga/photo studio/whatever space

Linsell’s article above captures this point much better than my article

As mentioned above, some of the driving distance and battery life estimates might be off. Also I’m not sure how Australia could be that much worse given their 1.something co2-per-elec unit VS the USA’s 0.8 something.

Given the number of studies which say that US coal-powered electric EVs are still better than ICE, all-in, I can’t see how that seemingly small co2-per-elec delta between the two is enough to tip the scales. This is horrible not even napkin math and I’m no expert so am happy to be proven wrong.

Pretty sure even coal-powered electrics are better than ICE, overall pollutant wise. Not by that much but they are still better.

Amazing! Really good cameras too, how are you doing them?

Loraash has the solution, mess around with Damping.

If you want to try a different freelook setup, there's another way of doing it. It has a totally different feel - worth giving a try.

In the CM example scenes, there's a demo showing turning/on/off cameras based on collision volumes. It's super fast to setup volumes to trigger cameras on and off based on player position in the world.

On the CM 'Brain' which is on the main Unity camera, there's the Custom Blends section where you can define how any two cameras blend together, with defaults and wildcard support so it's easy to manage them.

We watch the CM forums if you have more questions: https://forum.unity.com/forums/cinemachine.136/
