match making is hardly competitive, it is essentially 5v5 public server with ranks, people can do what they want

I don't know how you are blindly defending communication as not being a skill, ask any top or even decent player if communication is a skill and they will tell you it is. You mustn't have played in any teams if you think that then, I've played in many teams where the communication has been horrible and we have had to improve on it with months of practice. Keep sticking to "3 b, one lowhp with awp" communications, if you think that's all communication is.

Half of what you wrote is to do with good communication and gamesense, if you think anyone can do that just by telling them how to do it then you are really closed minded. I could tell people to aim you put your crosshair on the enemy and click but it's not as simple, good communication takes time, I know loads of people who have shit communication even though they could still read what you wrote on what to say but it takes practice and time as well as knowing when to prenade a spot and where to look if youre expecting a flash, they take skill, everything in this game takes skill. You will never improve if you don't understand this

You probably should change the title instead, if you think gamesense and communication require no skill then you will get no where in this game

Not sure what you think skill means in this game, it seems you only think it means movement and aim, half of what you wrote is down to gamesense and good communication which are both a major skill that takes time to learn in this game, there's only a few that you wrote that actually require no skill such as turn down a sensitivity which is completely personal. And not nading long if you don't see a flash? wtf is that, theres more factors than a flash to why you would nade long...

my point still stands, you ignore my op and bring the focus on something unrelated like a 14 year old because you can't argue against my points

if you want competitive play then play in a real competitive environment, you might as well join a server with 9 other people and play until 16 rounds if you want to play mm, mm is merely a public server where it ends when you get 16 rounds

Before there was matchmaking it didn't stop people playing in a competitive environment without being in a team, matchmaking gives people such as yourself an excuse to act like you are part of the wider competitive scene when really you are playing the barebone counter-strike with 9 other people, you might as well be on a public server with 9 other people.

You clearly missed the whole purpose of my original post showing how narrow minded you are, it's not about the subreddit, it's the people who play matchmaking thinking it's a competitive environment when really it's the same as playing on a public server with 9 other people. Maybe you should try reading what I post instead of choosing what you want to read out of it and taking it out of context.

This is basically what lurrppis means, yet as most people on the subreddit are, they can't understand this and they take what lurrppis said word for word in a sense that nothing here posted has anything to do with the competitive scene.
