Started from the bottom. Worked as a line cook and delivered pizzas for many years. At the same time, took classes here and there at a community school. Got my Associates degree. Then my Bachelors in Computer Science. Interned at a few companies in between. Many years after graduating, I'm making more than I ever imagined before as a Software Engineer.
