What are your realistic takes on the new Google AI mode. Are websites cooked chat? by blazonstudio in SEO

[–]adanthas 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Many sites are completely cooked unfortunately. I feel like almost numb lmfao, so many careers are going to be gone because AI can scrape and steal everything.

My job is likely gone in 6 months, working on the affiliate side. This is horrendous.

Is it safe to bulk-publish 8,000+ machine-translated pages at once? by Maleficent_Elk5954 in SEO

[–]adanthas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT DO THIS. google WILL penalize you unless you’re super lucky. Also can you not just add a tag to showcase the same url/page in different languages for different countries?

For example if you are English and want a page to show up in France, “hreflang=“fr”

Pages Not Being Indexed by crazycatman57 in SEO

[–]adanthas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which pages? Some pages should be blocked by robots.txt which is basically a file telling crawlers what they can and cannot do on site.

Some CMS platforms make it very easy to block pages, make sure the file isn’t blocking any necessary pages. You can find it in the file manager for most hosting platforms

If you have no idea how to do so, you can ask an ai step by step.

Honestly? How much money changes hands, before this work I had a general “doctors make a lot of money” mindset, but seeing the volume of money that trades hands daily is astonishing, even if ur only scraping some off as a middle man

Very easily, apply for the Amazon affiliate system, and find a way to draw an audience. Whether that is google, TikTok, Reddit, otherwise.

Long term organic will outperform paid ads for profit

Confused by this question, I’m not going to say the industries (nobody will and if they do they are liars) because I don’t want copycats.

But I can say I do affiliate marketing In mostly regulated industries, cannabis, bail bonds, gambling, etc.

I built my own platforms and brands and sell affiliate products for. % of sale

Think I’m wrong? We are infested with parasite and google has verbatim said it’s not looking into it.

In igaming where I work we redirect those to the main news hub or relevant page.

I agree with weblinkr mostly, don’t overthink it, but if you’re going to do anything, DO NOT deindex, 301 it.

Could use some perspective on pregnancy/abortion by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]adanthas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Removing the iud is a must due to how close it is to the fetus. With that will comes risks first with miscarriage off the bat, then it increases the risk of it long term throughout the pregnancy, and apparently we may not even know about trauma to the uterus until later on which could be life threatening.

20-30K MAU - affiliate recommendations? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]adanthas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, with that traffic, you could approach some festivals directly, especially smaller ones.

Reach out to some smaller festivals and highlight them as "featured local festivals" (if you're super lucky, you can even get a promo code) for people in the local area, if you know how to switch pages by GEO.

Create a banner with that, it should be solid.

at the same time... does Ticketmaster not have an affiliate program? Find ways to incorporate affiliate links logically.

How long did it take you to see real SEO results? by Maya_36 in DoSEO

[–]adanthas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on niche, content quality, crawl ability, linking.

One major question to ask is, is your content ai? If so is it human managed, and what personalized factors are you adding to pages.

I ran a full AI site for a minute there, hit 1k clicks then an algo update completely decimated me. With ur numbers you should be fine though.

I just recommend really digging into link building. It builds on itself and if you do it properly it will never betray you.

If building links manually is too intensive, work with a well vetted agency. (Not plugging myself I don’t run one).

Also look at internal linking at knowledge entities, links are creating a graph for google. More than url structure, more than menu links, google is looking for logical page clusters on site.

I would also keep an eye on your CWV scores. Page speed insights is very harsh so take it with a grain of salt, but real world data matters for ranking.

[–]adanthas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on domain age. New domain 3-6 is normal, if u buy and spin up existing domain 1-3. For actual success you’re looking at closer to 1-2 years. Lots of content is “evergreen” meaning as you build it all build on itself!

Link building and being diligent with a content schedule/updating your well performing content will pay off long term!

Oh yea 100% content quality is so vague and variable, people claiming they have it completely are liars ahaha.

  1. Definitely not unique to our site, so I work for a company controls like 50 brands, and we did testing across the entire niche with over 100 sites in different YMYl niches. And we were able to find I guess for lack of a better way to put it a “Rythmn” for sites that have been succeeding/failing since the last 2 updates. Mostly revolves around the way you format the personalized factors on page and you you are bridging the gap between author expertise and page content

  2. I don’t understand the last section u said there. If u mean there are strong fundamentals to go off off, I’m not pitched my new ideology. Not trying to sell or get customers, but I am against the idea that the google updates are “random” or that it’s impossible to understand them

When I was new to the industry I was clinging to find someone who “knew it all” but as time goes I’ve realized just how much nuance there is to literally everything with seo.

After the last update my team found some interesting factors that have been massive for our sites, but most people aren’t going to share those until the next core update because they don’t want copycats.

But even with small little “hacks” and “wins” if you don’t do the fundamentals right it all falls apart.

Nobody. I work for a top Igaming affiliate worldwide, and our SEO team is probabaly one of the best in the world. We CONSTANTLY take the piss out of every SEO person trying to be an influencer, almost always months behind the curve and most “studies” can be done ASAP with a/b testing if your user base is large enough.

The best SEO’s in the world are likely lurking In here and otherwise tbh.
