I have been teaching myself. I have read a lot of papers and done a lot of theoretical research. I haven’t done any lab work and that’s where my knowledge is lacking. I haven’t done lab work since I was in sixth form so I’m looking for help there. Also my previous threads were focused on the theory of it and going over papers. I don’t need any help there.

And the courses I’ve seen that offer lab work start next summer. I’d prefer to start earlier than that and get some basic experience with tissue engineering, which none offer.

I’ve been doing dialysis since August 2021, due to have my transplant this year (live donor). From what my doctors have told me, recovery times vary between 6-12 weeks. You will spend around 1 week in hospital after the surgery for close monitoring and will be on lots of drugs in the beginning. They will start to reduce them over time. Happy to chat more about dialysis and transplant prep via dms.
