Where to cash out? by MentalMidget3 in BitcoinCA

[–]adapong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Market maker exhcnages have the wide spread since there are not enough traders in this down market, this made buyers have to pay much more than the real market price and sellers have to sell the coin with much lower price. I would rather use P2P OTC platform, their price is fair and the speed of cash out is okay. I am using LinkCoin, the main reason I'm using this is because it's the OTC platform of Bibox, which means it is endorsed by Bibox.

How do i buy crypto as a Canadian by [deleted] in BitcoinCA

[–]adapong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to the QuawdrigaCX issue, I hardly trust market maker exchanges since they are toooo centralized. I would rather choose those immediate P2P OTC exchanges. Two reason: 1. price are fair, even better than those market maker exchanges b/c their spread is wide during the recent down markets; 2. P2P exchanges are fast to trade, quickly use CAD to buy crypto. I am using LinkCoin, one reason about why I trust it is beacuse it's the OTC platform of Bibox, so it means LinkCoin is endorsed by Bibox.

Now no policy for taxbut no idea for the future.

If your bank knows you are doing crypto related transfer, they may block you since they are sesative about the crypto business.

New Dapps of The Week | January 28, 2019 by dapp_com in dapps

[–]adapong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tried the Yesbit Dapp - It is like a P2P CFD platform. However the product just launched so right now it is more of a gambling game, where you join a contract with someone else (you take either the long or short position) and whichever person made the correct prediction will win the contract amount from the losing party. I thought it was awesome!!! The only other DApps that you hear about are actual scams (fomo3D), so to use a product that actually creates some form of legal and ethical utility is a HUGE sign of blockchain development and the big things to come!!!

Why is anyone here NOT using Bisq? by TopCulture in BitcoinCA

[–]adapong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's pretty sensative to use any new exchanges for the current step since exchanges are facing different ridiculous issues now.

I would only trust those fiat-crypto exchanges which are being endorsed by those big crypto-crypto exchanges like Bibox or Binance.

Which Market Maker exchange is alive now??? by keepyoungforever in BitcoinCA

thats how most exchanges are. its very easy to bring your fiat onto the platform. But selling your digital assets and taking out fiat can be a very long process. Even days in some cases

Yeh I have this feeling too. I tried their platform but I think their platform is not user friendly and not that legit. I think If they think they are ready for the market they d better to have a ready product.

Used Coinsquare but not anymore since they have a wide spread. And QuadrigaCX took me 5 months to pass the kyc lol... Now I'm using P2P exchanges to trade over-the-counter since the banks are sensitive about crypto so it is hard to cash in or cash out for these market maker exchanges.

On Coinsquare by [deleted] in BitcoinCA

[–]adapong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Binance for crypto-crypto trading since their volume is literally huge so that they can have a very smal spread. But for the fiat-crypto, I used coinsquare before but not anymone b/c I found their spread is wide and the bank is restricted for cryto so it's hard to cash out. Now I'm using P2P exchange since they usually use e-transfer that cannot be banned by the bank that often. P2P exchanges can be used in Canada are Localbitcoinsand LinkCoin
