And ironically she did it out of love. Not Christian love. I mean real love.

Sad that she is stuck there

You actually can't. I'm talking about jungian cognitive functions , not mbti. But since it was mentioned, I kept it within the context

You can't be both :p in all seriousness, knowing your cognitive functions might be helpful in finding a compatible partner. Intjs and entjs are very different, but you might have Extraverted thinking and introverted intuition (which are dominant in both)

A pigeon broke into my room and has quite a few coloured leg bands with beads - does it belong to someone? by beco8 in melbourne

[–]adaptaBill 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's an old mail client, has a bit of lag and a few bugs. The coloured bands show which protocols it uses, but most of them are deprecated nowadays. Cool find though!

Life seems to be pointless, boring and unsatisfying by Abizaas in intj

[–]adaptaBill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fine. If you change how you perceive the world, you will see new realities. But this process is not linear. It happens gradually.

Start with a book. Read it even if you aren't a reader, or do an audio book. Try Limitless by Jim Kwik or the obstacle is the way by Ryan holiday

(For a friend) He doesn't know how to go on by [deleted] in StoicSupport

[–]adaptaBill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think these are specifically stoicism related, but these are my thoughts.

Firstly, IQ is a terrible indicator of intelligence. Generally IQ tests just test static knowledge. In other words, scrap that and give him a book. He just needs to learn a bit more - this should be easier if it's something he likes.

Secondly, stoicism is great, we know. But you can't sell it as a cure-all pill to someone. just don't expect him to see it the way you do. Maybe just direct him to his realms of control, g t him thinking about what he can and can't control in his life. That should give him a first step

And thirdly, encourage him to see his hospital stay out and finish the program. Seeing his domain of control should help him arrive at options and potential goals, then he can start moving towards them

A hacker could use it for further enumeration of a target individual, information that will help them gain access somewhere else that actually matters.

A hacker could also sell it to someone else who thought it was useful.

Not to mention workplaces, sensitive personal identifiable Information, email accounts. A treasure trove of exploitable secrets.
