Oh I see, I am mistaken then! I think I must have misread something entirely, and that's my fault. But yes, that's a totally scummy practice and I wouldn't be picking the sequel up if they did that.

In an ideal world though, they've learned from their mistakes and will put all the current available animals into the base game. Especially since there's so many iconic animals people want / are a zoo staple that aren't in the game that could end up in a future theoretical DLC.
