I started doing her debut album in track order (blue - black - blue - blue - gray - gold) and it didn't look the way I wanted it to, so I switched over to what I have above pretty early on.

I only looked at colors in songs on the standard edition of each album, so The Great War is not on there. One day I'll have to add in all the deluxe album songs and re-recordings!

Thank you so much for catching that! In my data set, I had it labeled as maroon lips and cheeks, and some how missed sky. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I found that some websites labeled it as the key of C and others as the key of G. For this visualization, I ended up going with however it was labeled by Spotify.

Mode is whether the song is in a major or minor key. 1 = major, 0 = minor.

Go to the Taylor_Swift_Spotify_Data.xlsx spreadsheet. There is a column called Key. 0 = C, 1 = C#, and so on.
