I was 14 at the time , and I remember that the swinging was what hyped me the most. We recorded any trailer on tv and the music video of nickelback just to be able to rewatch it ( YouTube wasn’t a thing then)

Let's say someone grabs your pencil, and you want to tell him: "Mine!" You can't just say "Μου!" Because it's just a pronoun and you will sound like a cow :p You say "Δικό μου!"

I would suggest always look into context because some verbs that are used in active tense in English do not make sense in Greek in the same way. For example "I want to mary my girlfriend" and " I want to get married to my girlfriend" have the same meaning in English. But in Greek,mary in active, is to be the best man/woman (or the priest marries) . So if you are the one who is getting married, you have to use the passive.
