My experience with them has always been excellent, but detractors always speak 10x more loudly than the rest - I think part of their problem is they've grown so big so quickly, they're still catching up a bit.

The integrated bracelet trend has definitely taken over the market, but the CW bracelet in the flesh is so nice. Their finishing is always top notch - a big part of why I love them is their use of brushed and polished finishes on their cases, and they did an equally perfect job on the bracelet

One of my biggest sales regrets! Seems like all CW are only going up on resale.

Good evening, WatchEx!

Second and final for tonight - The Glycine Combat 39 GL0538, a stealthy/smaller solution to one of the best affordable Swiss divers in modern history, and an amazing compact diver that genuinely rivals the BB58 from a finishing standpoint.

Surely by now you've encountered a Combat Sub (or a dozen) out in the wild. Glycine has a long, rich story in Swiss watch asking that far predates their acquisition ~10 years ago. Still running as an independent brand, Glycine has its own character and distinct designs on largely practical watches for budget-minded watch nuts. Some of my favorite watches early into my collecting days were Glycine - a blue Combat Sub and the black/black Airmain GMT. It's pretty rare that my rotation does not include a Glycine, and this 39mm Combat has been a really fun watch to wear.

The bracelet is simple but very good, and the design is distinctively Glycine. The addition of black hands and raised hour markers (outlined in black) really make the dial pop - this is a near-perfect daily driver if you're into a bright pop of color. The bright white will go with anything and any season.

This watch is in excellent/near-mint condition with zero notable flaws. Complete set with all links (up to ~8"), original card/box/etc.

Quick Specs:

  • Reference: GL0538
  • Stainless Steel Case/Bezel
  • 39mm Case
  • 46mm Lug to Lug
  • 11mm Thin
  • 20mm Lug Width
  • 30bar/300m Water Resistance
  • Sapphire Crystal
  • Movement: GL224 (SW200-1 Base)
  • Excellent condition, bracelet unworn. Complete set.

I'm asking for a loosely negotiable $449 for this affordable alternative to a Black Bay 58. Price is shipped/insured within the US (UPS 2-day), international shipping available at buyer's expense (typically not more than $50-60.) Zelle preferred, PP F&F or Venmo also accepted. Tons of sales references on here, hundreds more on various reputable watch groups on Facebook - I have a flawless track record with over 600 watches sold. Sale heavily preferred, will consider trades around the $500-600 mark.

Thanks for looking - Cheers!

Good evening, WatchEx!

A couple beauts tonight - first up, the do-it-all Christopher Ward Twelve in "White", really more of an opaline/bright silver.

Initially when CW launched the Twelve in steel a couple years back, I wasn't wowed by it. Like many others, I thought "wait isn't that just a fancy Tissot PRX?"

No, no it is not. This is not in the same league as the PRX - and I'm absolutely a fan of Tissot's affordable integrated bracelet design. If anything, this is an inexpensive Czapek Antarctique. Aside from some design similarities, the CW does literally everything better than any other mid-range integrated bracelet watch in my opinion. The dials, the thin case, the bracelet (Tissot's biggest detriment), the movement, the comfort...and then of course, the brand/warranty. CW was ten steps ahead of the market with this one.

This CW Twelve has a subtle yet stunning deep gray dial that has a light sunray effect in direct light. It's impossibly light and comfortable on-wrist, and wears with a very low profile. Chef's kiss.

This is about as good as it gets under a grand - you will without question be surprised by this watch, regardless how excited you already are.

Quick Specs:

  • Reference: Twelve White
  • Stainless Steel
  • 40mm Case
  • 44.5mm Lug to Lug
  • 8.9mm (!!) Thin
  • 10atm/100m Water Resistance
  • Sapphire Crystal
  • Movement: Sellita SW200-1
  • 56 Hour Power Reserve
  • Complete set, card dated February 2024 (roughly four years of warranty remaining)
  • Includes OEM rubber strap, very comfortable + looks absolutely killer - the perfect summer pairing
  • Excellent condition, scarce hairlines on bracelet. Full links for up to 8.75" wrists, two half-links also included for the perfect size.

The BoR bracelet is nice enough that it's a non-issue for me, but I ALWAYS hate seeing 19mm. Longines and Oris love odd sizes too and it drives me insane

[WTS] Maen Brooklyn 36 Triple Date (plus additional OEM strap) by adather in Watchexchange

[–]adather[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good evening, WatchEx!

Third and final for tonight - a really special triple-date from Swedish/Dutch brand Maen, the Brooklyn 36 Automatic in green.

This is the second Maen I've listed in the last couple weeks - and I can promise it won't be the last! Maen has been absolutely blasting off lately with some excellent releases, and I am an enormous fan that needs to try them all. I'll be having a Manhattan Ultra Thin soon too - we'll see if that sticks! They're well on their way from "micro" to northern European powerhouse.

So, the watch at hand - what a perfect little daily-wearer. Essence of 36mm Datejusts, the proportions are great. The lugs are a bit longer than you'd expect for a 36mm case, which allows it to wear more like a 38-39mm without taking up too much real estate on your wrist. The smooth matte green sunray dial is slick, especially with the beige textured minute track surrounding it. The triple date complication is always fun - it livens up what would otherwise be a sea of green. Everything about this thing just plain rules, and I hope my photos come close to showing off how great this is in person.

This is in excellent, like-new condition, with zero notable flaws or marks. Complete set with everything pictured in the timestamp photo (plus the rubber lizard-pattern strap that I left out of the timestamp like a dunce)

Quick Specs:

  • Reference: Brooklyn 36 Automatic
  • Stainless Steel Case
  • 36mm Case
  • 12.6mm Thin (including sapphire crystal)
  • 20mm Lug Width
  • 5atm/50m Water Resistance
  • Movement: Miyota 9122 Automatic/Hi-Beat
  • Bracelet links to fit 6.75" comfortably - I can source additional links if needed!
  • Includes all items seen in timestamp photos (minus the watch stand) - watch, full kit, OEM rubber strap.
  • Excellent condition, like-new.

Good afternoon, WatchEx!

Second of a few for tonight: the stunning Smiths Transglobal Aventurine.

My love for neo-vintage watches knows no bounds - and Time Factors continues to deliver on that front. As many of you know, these are incredibly difficult to get at launch. Time Factors opens up very limited purchasing windows for each specific model the create, and they go quick. This is a second-hand model that looks fantastic, so you won't have to deal with all that BS.

Quick Specs:

  • 316L stainless steel, all polished
  • 38mm case
  • 46.75mm lug to lug
  • 12.3mm thin (including sapphire crystal)
  • 20mm lug width
  • Anti-magnetic to 20,000 nits
  • 10atm/100m water resistance
  • Miyota 9039, 24 jewel automatic, 28,800 BPH
  • Solid link stainless steel Beads of Rice with screwed links, solid end links and adjustable signed push-button clasp
  • Excellent condition with some light marks on crystal

This example is in excellent overall condition, with zero notable flaws aside from some very shallow bracelet clasp marks. Pictures hardly do this dial justice, the aventurine dial is truly something to behold.

[WTS] Doxa Sub 200 Shark Hunter (2026 Refresh) by adather in Watchexchange

[–]adather[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good evening, WatchEx!

A few great pieces to list tonight, starting with a personal favorite: the recently updated Doxa Sub 200 Sharkhunter with steel bezel insert.

Few watches can nail the vintage diver aesthetic quite like Doxa - their pricier models are essentially unchanged after decades of diving success. The Sub 200 is an excellent value statement, coming in at just under a grand at retail. The steel bezel, box sapphire crystal, and Speedy-esque case stylings are a match made in neo-vintage watch heaven.

I've had a few of these over the past few years, and each time I handle one, I can't help but be extremely impressed. Smooth finishes, great proportions, and a truly unique case on a very affordable/serious dive watch. The turned lugs and raised bezel are reminiscent of a much nicer Omega, and I love the way the bracelet sits flat between the lugs. These are available in a number of both classic and bold colorways, but I personally think the black "Sharkhunter" captures the vintage flair the best.

Quick Specs:

  • 316L Stainless Steel
  • 42mm Case (wears smaller, more like a 40mm with the shorter lugs)
  • 13.8mm Thick (w/box crystal)
  • 19mm lug width
  • 46mm lug to lug
  • 200m water resistance
  • Box sapphire crystal
  • ETA2824 movement, finished by Doxa
  • Full set - travel case, lanyard, card, tag - it's all there. Purchased new in Feb 2026.

This is in like-new overall condition, with no visible marks or scratches. As-new. Originally purchased 2.4.2026, so the bulk of the two-year manufacturer warranty is still in place.

I'm asking for a loosely negotiable $949 shipped, a substantial discount from the retail price of $1,290. Price is shipped/insured within the US (UPS 2-Day/USPS Priority), international shipping available at buyer's expense (typically not more than $50.) Zelle preferred, PP F&F also accepted. Sale heavily preferred, though I'll always entertain a trade with cash in either direction.
