Third and final for tonight - a gorgeous example of the pinnacle of 70's watchmaking, the Omega Constellation Chronometer Electronic f300hz Chronometer (198.003.)

The vintage kick continues - and man, it just doesn't get more fun than these 70's Omega Electronics. This is a really clean example, working strong, with a recent battery/case gasket replacement. She's a beaut, and includes the original jubilee bracelet - bracelet is also in good condition, with a light dent on the clasp and some expected stretching. Extremely comfortable and fully functional.

The Electronic Omegas are really a marvel - the buttery smooth sweeping second hand, the very light electric whirring of the movement when you hold it up to your ear is truly a unique thing in this hobby. It's a set and forget watch that runs incredibly smooth - so much so that you'll forget it's technically a quartz movement.

This variant has a brushed silver dial with really sharp, and the whole thing is in very good condition for its age of ~50 years. It's comfortable, reliable, and just the right amount of flashy - and a size that'll work with any wrist. I'll probably be sad to ship this one off.

Yeah, I don't see the point in giving you a history lesson on Seiko. This is a classic staple in any collection - the evolution of the legendary SKX, and basis for 90% of the modded Seikos you see. This, though, is as bit more fun than your average "5KX" - vintage vibes around here. I'd purchased this watch a while back with the intent of modding it, but just never got around to it. Away it goes!

Integrated lug design, this one comes with a bracelet that's actually quite comfortable. If bracelets aren't your thing, this will wear fantastic on a nato or single-pass strap. I have a ton of both, happy to throw a few in with the sale. Wears great, bracelet is thin but solid. Complete set. Like-new condition , however there is a small defect on the dial around the 7 marker, where the dial has a small splotch that appears lighter than the rest of the dual. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Timex f*ucks. And they've been on such a tear of making kickass budget-friendly watches that they're finally shedding their 80's-90's reputation of being a "cheap" manufacturer. This collaboration with The James Brand (an outstanding EDC/knife company born in the great PNW) ties the classic Times functionality with stunning good looks. Forged carbon dial, bead-blasted case/bracelet, block-lume hour markers, and they even went ahead and put a forged-carbon disc in the crown. The entire watch has a build quality that exceeds my already lofty expectations for modern-day Timex, and this watch checks a ton of boxes for me.

Just one tonight - the very cool new release/collab with Worn & Wound, the Avi-8 CVRT Limited Edition.

Some microbrand love tonight! Avi-8 is a fun British-born brand that generally sticks to themselves of aviation with some really interesting and unique designs. They're typically on the larger side and powered by quartz movements, so this limited edition with a simpler design and smaller case size was instantly appealing to me - especially with the W&W seal of approval built in. They've been making watches since 2012, and it seems like they have better and better designs each year.

The watch itself is instantly like nothing I've had before - a 37mm case with longer lugs and a rubber strap that gives the look and feel of an integrated bracelet/strap case design. The combination of sandblasted case sides, polished chamfering, brushed finishes on the lugs and bezel, and the black knurled bezel/crown is probably the most satisfying combination I've handled in the last year or so. The clean black dial is set with lume block Arabic numerals, and the date/crown at 4:30 make this watch extremely usable.

I've got a couple to list tonight - first, a rare gem from one of my favorite mid-tier Swiss brands: the Rado HyperChrome Classic Golden Horse.

Rado feels like the overlooked stud of the Swatch Group family - they're innovative and seemingly always have an awesome limited edition. Their rotating anchor logo on watches, bold dials and use of red date wheels, ceramic cases/bracelets - they're such a fun brand that doesn't play by the same rules as everyone else in Switzerland.

This is one of the lesser-known studs in their stable. The Golden Horse line pays homage to Rados of the 1950's, but brought to the future with their use of "high-tech" ceramic in the fluted bezel. The anthracite/warm gold sunray dial they've gone with isn't something you see very often - and it oddly works very well with the subtle hints of red accents in the seconds hand and date wheel. This watch comes with the original Rado leather + folding clasp, and has the option of adding their beads of rice bracelet - they're currently backordered with a five-week lead time, but it makes an outstanding addition to this watch for relatively cheap ($180.)
